2 cups Self-rising Flour
4 table spoon Sugar
1 Envelope Rapid Rise Yeast
Mix well - add 1 1/4 cup(1/2 milk 1/2 water) - make sure the milk is at room temp
Stir and gently knead. Cover.
Let rise till double in size.
Spoon onto floured surface and flatten out.
Fry in canola or peanut oil in a deep skillet till golden brown (flipping once)remove to paper towel to drain and cool.
Serve warm with your choice of powdered sugar, honey or butter. Enjoy!

im gonna have to try this new recipe.never used sugar or yeast. we make it different down here in AZ usually in a taco with ground beef, beans,cheese,lettuce,tomatoes,and salsa. its also good with chili meat.

don't know about you but all my Indian girls dont put milk in their fry bread and the recipe isnt for everyone. it was taught to my ole lady by her grandmother and then passed down. tradtionally!
