Bottom line here is either we are a superpower or we are a bunch of politicians strutting around blowing wind for the oil we are wasting. If we don't prove to the world that we are a superpower then we are giving a green light to anybody that wants to shake our tree. We don't have enough resolve to protect our own borders and everybody whines about what is best for this country. I say carpet bomb there a** back to the stoneage and anybody that wants a piece of it give them the same. I mean anybody!
We are or we aren't serious in our convictions, there is no middle ground in going somewhere and bluffing our way through. If your gonna pick a fight and kill innocent people you better have the stuff it takes to back it up, or take your butt whipping like the boy you are. Talking and waiting only wastes lives and resources. We only have ourselves to blame for where we allow our government to go and play "oillitics." Either we mean business or we stay out of other peoples lives. I'd be willing to pay more for gas if I tought it really cost that much more to produce here. We can conserve, we can sacrafice, but it has to be for a reason, not just profits. we stop buying there oil whose gonna buy it?
You come here as a terrorist we hang your a** today, not next week or next year. Rocket attacks on our troops, helicopters shot down daily, roadside bombings, suicide attacks, cowards all of them. I say bomb their a** and I mean daily or get the hell out. Illegal aliens come here they should be trained and sent to the front lines to fight for our country. Either put your life on the line like I and my father and brothers have or stay the hell out. I served, I volunteered for Viet Nam, I did not offer my life to see a bunch of cowards and blowhards run this country like it is a college fraternity.
Shock and Awe? It has been more like shuck and jive. We have the capability to back up our intentions, we have spent trillions to build the most powerful military on this planet, either use it to make the point or dismantle the whole thing and give our country to the next fanatical religious sect that decides they deserve it more than us.

We can be the best and show these people we mean business or we can sit around debating about what is right and wrong. There is no room in the world for the type of people that lurk in the shadows of these countries, either we do the right thing or we pull out and protect ourselves through espionage, border security, and make it impossible to come here unless you are welcome. Period. These people thrive on fear, they love scaring the crap out of innocent people but they are true cowards themselves. The only way to effectively deal with them is blow their a** into oblivion, it is a faulty race and idealism. Even their own people fear them because they hide like c*ckroaches, and are willing to sacrifice their children in the process of furthering their hatred.
Anybody remember Khadafi? He was training terrorist and he learned we mean business, and he shut the ***k up! We need more resolve in our leadership and we need to send a powerful and clear message we mean serious business, or you can start teaching your kids and grandkids the Koran tonight. If the Koran is a part of your religion I mean no offense but I do not believe our country was founded upon it. I inherited the traditions we have and I cherish what we USED to stand for. I'm not sure what we stand for anymore other than GREED. Ethics? All of our politicians and lawyers and CEO's were apparently out not inhaling when they taught that class.
We can send in undercover agents to destroy anybody and financially/politically undermine any society we want and never fire a bullet. The investment in that tactic would be cheaper than bombs and ships. The chinese are doing it to us daily. Go look at half the stuff you use and wear and tell me where it was made. If they triple the price of everything we buy tomorrow we would be bankrupt in 6 months.
We don't make anything any more because it isn't PROFITABLE to do it here. We are giving them our manufacturing technology because they have CHEAP LABOR. Corporate greed will be the ruin of our existence. The chinese know that and are sucking the life out of us one pair of shoes and underwear at a time, and are willing to prostitute their economy and people to justify the end results. We are sheep with wallets....
It takes resolve to start a fight, unless you just like getting your butt whipped. We are more concerned about keeping the oil flowing than we are about what that oil is costing us as a nation. The reality is 1 major oil company made 1 billion a week PROFIT off US last quarter, who and what are we really fighting for?
Bill Gates... good god it's just a copy of a pretty lousy program.... billions a year in PROFIT. Now he's helping people you say. If he wants to help somebody stop charging so much for a COPY. The list is endless, Stock prices should be the signs but nobody has a clue what it is costing the average american to make these people so unbelievably rich. Where do you think the dollars come from? YOUR POCKETS PEOPLE!
Stop blaming the republicans or the democrats and look in the mirror and ask yourself what you are doing about it. Are you conserving, do you want a good life for your kids? Are you making choices that help the cause or are you just laying on the couch surfing the channels, waiting for the next war to be started in the name of "cheap goods, labor and oil?" Add the cost of the war in Iraq, divide it by the gallons of oil we consume and do the math. We are really paying about $12 a gallon today, in Brazil it costs 19 cents a gallon. But they stay out of others business... and their government is no more corrupt than ours.
We elected the people that are running this country and we either choose to fight for what is ours or simply give it away to greed and hatred. You can choose to buy your gas from others, you can demand that illegals earn our way of life, walk 2 blocks instead of drive. Buy American products if you can FIND them. Your simple choices....
What are you doing about it?

Never, I agree on that but the issue with me is by the people for the people and when and where did we agree to give it up? What is it going to take to get our country back and do the right thing for OUR collective future? We need backbone and the stuff to back it up. Not a bunch of ecuses about what is best for the economy.
If oil is essential to our economy and we can't survive with out it then we have already given it to the Saudis and any other government that controls it. Take down the American flag and put up Exxons/Mobile, BP, Shell's. Go back to horses if we have to but get rid of the dependence. When are we going to move away from an essential resource controlled by others and become truly independent of the factions that our out to destroy us?
We are sheep with wallets and we are LETTING it happen. We need to demand solar power be used, and have access to the grid to use it effectively and take control of our energy as a National resource not a money stream for those in charge. Energy should be like air. We can individually contribute to it and we can demand that they build electric vehicles.
GM built them already and found out it was not in their best interset to produce them because it would not generate enough aftermarket parts sales and service. The only thing needed after 2 years of daily use was new brakes, tires and batteries! I know it isn't macho, but it does pollute a lot less and if it were charged by solar then their is no polllution. The sun is free and enough shines on the earth in ONE day to power the entire world for a year using nothing but solar energy collectors. Not good for the economic revenue stream forom fossil fuels.
Find the movie; "Who killed the electric car." They have done it to us all by propaganda and marketing. Do you know why we have electric poles everywhere? They used to string wires for the buses to run on. We granted them rights-of-way so they could. We had electric buses and trolleys everywhere before they came out with diesels because it could "extend routes with less infrastructure". Corporate greed has put us where we are today and apparently it isn't stopping any time soon.
Now every electric utility in the country has abandon or bargained their obligation for mass transit away in the name of Economics. We have the bus system here under a local management agreement and the routes are cut every year because it is so expensive to operate. They had a mandate by the federal government to provide mass transit because of the monopoly they are. They complained it is too expensive to operate, yet our city traded prime real estate for the bus sytems that a monopoly "could not afford."
Who won here? The "poor people" that depend on it for transportation? Hardly.

I did my part for the last 12 years. I lived off grid, and I did not support the beast.
But it's to little to late. Their is nothing anyone can do to fix it. The Nazi's have taken over (still), and the NWO is going as planned. No revolution or up-rising will fix it.
The end of the world as we know it is at hand, and it is coming to a neighborhood near me and you very soon.
The best anyone can do is make peace with our maker.

It is never too late to make things right. We have the power, one person at a time to make a difference. Sure we are not going to make the Mega Rich poor, I agree, too late for that. We can however, hold our politicians accountable. We can demand that lobbying by corporations be abolished and we can demand that the rich be taxed according to what is best for US ALL.
The Mega Rich better decide if they like their position and are willing to ensure it persists in the face of economic collapse. They will starve just like the rest of us when the oil stops flowing and the farmers last fields die, dry up and blow away. If the few remaining poor don't find them right before that happens and burn them and their palaces into the ground.
Corporations spend billions lobbying for their cause, the return was 100 times that. Pretty good investment for them I think. 15% for the rich and I have to pay 35% in taxes? They can afford to pay 70% easily. At one time they paid 90%. Corporations pay very little taxes, that is why they were created after the tax system was instituted. It is their sole purpose.
I would love to be rich for my struggle someday, and I would be proud to pay my extra share for making it there. I could afford to help the country I live in secure my achievements for me and my successors future enjoyment. Something that we all would benefit from.
We need economists that are accountable, and that they tell the truth instead of being puppets for the imeperialist regime running this country. Economists don't get fired if they are wrong. Kind of like a psychiatrist or a doctor. We have trillon dollar a year deficit, unemployment is at it's worst, saving are lowest in 70 years. Economists employed by the administration are puppets.
Current administration claims that making hamburgers is manufacturing so it looks like we haven't given our manufacturing base to the rest of the world. It is a service industry GW. Not essential and very disposable. If they could figure out how to make them in China they would. (You want rice with that?)
You want to know who the anti-christ is, look up Alan Greenspan and his ilk. We are being and have been robbed by the rich for the rich. Tax breaks and the advice we now have for the wealthy have bankrupt our economy. They are buying gold, not spending it on our future productivity. Unless you work for a yacht factory, a luxury automobile company, Halliburton, The War machine, or the oil industry, your job is nothing but fodder for the next cannon shooting your job overseas. We are facing the biggest depression in our economy that our generation has ever experienced and your "manufacturing job" at McDonalds will be next. Your $50,000 home is now worth $200,000?
Sure it is and I'm the next King of America! When that bubble pops it is going to bankrupt your local governments too. Be prepared. The taxes will skyrocket and we will be forced choose between food and shelter, you are probably not going to be able to afford both. Priced chicken lately? When gas costs $12 a gallon that chicken will cost $9 a pound. Your pay will be the same IF you still are employed.
I worked on commission for 4 years as a grapic artist building a small business with a local subcontractor that creates ads for the yellow pages industry. We were merged with another company last year. Do you know where your local yellow pages ads are created? Our parent company took our jobs and moved them to the Phillipines. They have 100 artist there and are hiring more every week. Our biggest competitor now? India.

Even our creative talent is reduced to manufacturing hamburgers, most of the artists I worked with are college graduates, struggling with student loan debts. Now we can't work for another local company for a year because we were required to sign a no compete agreement to get work. Verizon, Southwest Bell, Qwest, all these mega corporations are using offshore help to make your LOCAL yellow page ads. All of that industry talent base will be offshore before this year is out. Only people not being offshored are the ones that are running the government, local hospitals, fire departments and police.
We need to buy ourselves a lot of bullets and few extra weapons for the coming civil war that this is going to ignite if the tables are not turned soon. We are very close to the point of no return. To give up on what it has taken 200 years to achieve in the name of pure Corporate and Political greed is not an acceptable alternative.
We still have a few people left that really love this country and want what is best for US and the rest of the peace loving world. I believe we were founded on the principles of Gods will for us as a Nation, it has been be corrupted to fit International Corporate America's adaptation.
"One Nation, Under God, Idivisable, With Liberty and JUSTICE for ALL." I'm willing to die for that, TODAY if needed, is our leadership that committed to it? Stand tall for us all or SHUT UP!
We all want peace, we all want our way of life to be enjoyed by the rest of the peace loving people in this world. We accept all religions and beliefs. Do we demand political and corporate reform or do we sit back and surf the channels, buying more and more stuff we don't need to impress people we don't care about. Toyota has taken over as the number one producer of vehicles in this country and I am sure the world. The difference is they believe in quality products at any cost and are willing to trade that quality for excessive profits.
I have a Chevy and a Toyota, the Toyota is by far a better product, there is no denying it. Not just a little better but way, way better. I love my Chevy, Detroit Iron made in Canada. (cheaper) We pay union employees $35 an hour to make tires. Great gig if you can get it. That is going overseas too. If corporations had a conscience we would not need a union to make the work place safe and equitable. Most essential products are now made offshore. When that supply line is decimated by the Islamic Fundamentalists we will be consumer toast. They know that. Remember the Soviet Union? Remember the Boston Tea party?
The Saudis tolerate us only because we are willing to pay $80 a barrel for $15 oil, when that dries up they will "rejoin" their fellow Islamic nations and collectively wipe us out financially with the war tools we provided them as our "Allies." They are the center and Mecca of Islamic religion. Remember Iran?
Turn off the entertainment and think about your future, sell your excess stuff, start saving your money, buy gold not a bigger house or a fancy new car, the stock market is as volatile now as ever, propped up by paper money... the turning point is at hand. The feds are printing more useless money and the foreign investors now own your mortgage. You will either help stop it or you will be overrun by the terrible results this financial direction is propegating.... history repeats itself, and we fiddle a fancy tune while America's future burns brightly at the hands of simple and pure greed.... God Help Us!

copdedriver, did ya hear today something about shooting near a border of immigrant illegal traffic. I think the revolution has started. It is sad, but it is too late. However, the way you express it in writing lifts my spirits. It is always nice too know you are not alone. To quote one text I have read which gives me great comfort, "for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea". (*Isaiah 11:9) If we did everything with honorable intentions as a nation, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Copter I agree with you and I wonder when the AMERICAN people will realize that we need a LEADER in our country that knows the primary concerns of our people is not overseas. It is here at home with our own people without health care, good paying jobs and the like. The Government wants to save social security? Why don't they replace all the money that was barrowed (so-called) instead of giving billions of dollars to foreign nations that the LEADERS have a mansion or two but the people are starving, I say we need a LEADER who is more concerned about HIS FELLOW AMERICANS than any other country in the world.
