Anywhere really. The trips to the north shore are always awesome. Take a hike at River Bluffs State Park just south of Winona is really something. If any of you haven't been there give it a try. Drive south of Winona on Hwy 61 & follow signs. We are still a week or two from peak colors down here in the SE corner. Also give Effigy Mounds State Park in NE Iowa a try. That would make for a great weekend get away. Lots of hill climbin on this one. It is located south of Lancing IA, also along the river.

I have never been there but the U.P.of MI. is very beautiful. There is a web site johndee.com and click on journal and he has this weekend colors of the trees in his journal that you click on. I go snowmobling there once or twice a year and it is a winter wonderland with over 200 inches of snow on the averge a season. Very good ski resorts out there also. Going out there the week between Christmas and New years this year with my kids and another family. My kids have never been out there so am looking forward to that.

Sitting in the duck boat on Schillings Lake this weekend before sunrise. All the sights & sounds of nature and the flyover of ducks when you least expect it.

here in rochester we have a nature park called quarry hill and its amazing with all the changing leaves and its soo pretty and peacefull

You have not seen anything about fall colors. Go to vermont right now , the colors out there are so impressive. Go to Smugglers Notch and look over the vallies and then you seen beauty
