You should also check with any local wineries for celebrations Thanksgiving weekend --- looks like Friday and Saturday. Some will have bands plus food and wine tasting. The map we have only goes as far south as Monmouth, so I don't know what is in the Eugene area. We were in the Dundee area today, and all indicated Thanksgiving weekend parties.

Just read some of the collected material, and there are thirteen wineries in Lane County doing Thanksgiving weekend celebrations. Could be worth looking into.

I have a brochure (picked up today) that lists dozens and dozens of wineries that will have open houses/ celebrations on the Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. A lot seem to be right off of 99W in the Dundee area; e.g., Duck Pond Cellars 11-5; music by Soul Vaccination 12-4; food available for purchase. There's one in Hillsboro --- Freja Cellars --- showing breads, cheeses and chocolates; taste fee of $10. Most places seem to indicate a $10 or $15 "taste fee."
I'll forward more info tomorrow.

Hi aging, it took me two days to think of what to say , according to patrick ... Tasting fees eh? I get free tasting samples in the stores. I can even sit in the grocery cart while I snack.

Good to see your morning humor! Want to hit Costco with me today? 'Tis the season for free lunch at Costco --- they are bringing in their holiday foods, which means added sampling!
