The answer to this OP's question is very elementary,
some people on here are'nt telling the truth, they lie
if they live close to you, there would be a 99% chance to meet, fear set's in and the truth will have to come out
if they live far away and distance factors in, that narrows it down to approximately 0 to 2% chance you will meet, does'nt matter that they have lied,
Just have another cup and don't worry about it

I tell the truth doesn't matter if your my next door neighbor or you live on the other side of the world. For me it's seems more exciting to go meet someone that isn't close...than to meet the nut that lives around the corner who already doesn't stop bothering me online when I say I am NOT interested! BUT I don't rule out a person who lives close either...

Well I guess that's the great thing about online dating, you get a chance to meet those whom you would other wise not ever have the chance. I'ts all now a matter of finders / keepers / loosers / weepers... LOL..
I worked with a girl who lived in Germany, she met a man and come to live in the US to marry him, they have been happily married now for 2 1/2 yrs.. So I think it is fate when you meet someone you connect with (soulmate) no matter the distance, age, race, color, etc...
