People (for some reason) can't help but catagorize interaction with the opposite sex as some sort of competition or contest.
The sense of losing on this site is everywhere. IT'S NOT A FAILURE IF YOU DON'T DATE 5 TIMES A WEEK !!
People "give up" when they are playing a game.

Give up,YOU BET!!! I thought trying to find someone "out there" in the real world was tough,but this takes the freekin cake! I have been on 3 different sites,keep sending e mails,no "winks" and no one responds,positive or negative.
That is just damn rude!I dont know if its being a widower or just being out there,but in my opinion,women are way too picky!They want Mr Right(whatever that is) but wont try to test the waters for fear of drowning!

i think i gave up along time ago. where are the men that act like men. it seems like i always have to wear the pants in the relationship...even when the guy towers over me by a foot and 60 lbs.
Hang in there. Enjoy it while you can. That's how it works at your age. All of the guys are immature. It'll change in a few years.

I've stepped in my share. But you need to feed your heart, just like your body and mind. Looked high & low & met a really sweet woman here. I'm hoping it works. I'm sure gonna try. I think if more people actually tried instead of thinking 'if it isn't perfect I'm movin on' more people would be with someone and be happy. jmo
