I have a question for any of you who care to share ..... "Have you ever been stood up waiting for your would be date"?
I would like to hear how you handled it and how you felt? Did you ever call the person back to find out why? Do people just love the computer more than the real thing? I mean isn't it better to meet and chat in person, or are people getting lazy with trying to build a friendship or relationship? I don't get it? Enlighten me! lol

can't say that i ever stood up anyone nor been stood up. i think it is very disrespectful and juvenile unless it is for legitimate reasons and then he/she should have the decency to pick up the phone.

not yet, but the last one almost seemed like it. He was waiting in his car for me and i was waiting in the restaurant for him. About 1/2 hour later he came in. He was the shyest guy ive ever been out with, but very nice.
he was coming from out of town, so that was my concern, that he was lost or in an accident. I did not have a # to get ahold of him had he not made it.

I got stood up once. She called me 2 hours later with no real excuse, but only to say she was sorry. I figure I lost complete interest in meeting her, so when she called to say she was sorry, I said to her, "You owe me big-time, starting with a home cook meal". It was my way of getting the last word. She called a few times afterward, but I was always too busy to talk. The only thing I was willing to make time for was my home cook meal...I never got it...but I never expected too.
