When a guy sends you a message and you go to look at their profile and they don't have any information filled out. They haven't written anything in their profile and all they said in their message to you is "Hi", what do you think of that?

My first instinct is to just delete them and keep on going. But sometimes, I'm curious. So I get one of these type today and I email the guy back and I ask him to tell me about himself and his reply is "I'm a nice guy looking for a good girl." Not a man of many words here, obviously. So I write back again and I ask "What's your definition of a good girl?" And he replies "you no". That's it. As if I can read the guy's mind! And he uses the words " you no" instead of "you know". I wrote him back and told him I thought of myself as a nice lady, but since he can't tell me what he's looking for, I have no way of knowing and that he needed to speak up and say what he wants.

Is this guy afraid of women or what? I mean, I tried to give him a chance but he made it impossible!

Guys ... let that be a little lesson. (where's the note-taking icon when you need one?)

(I'm getting sick of this sloppy shorthand, text type writing!!! It makes you REALLY look illiterate!) Anyway...about your question, yes, they are afraid a women with any sense might just figure out what a loser they are right off the bat - that's my opinion. (sad enough it appears to be the better looking ones that seem like they have some 'what, aren't my looks and pictures saying it all for me?" attitude.

Seems to me, that the guy doesn't have a clue How, Who, or What he wants. My problem is what to say, because I dont want to make the wrong impression or have the lady read my words the wrong way. I say what I feel, not what she wants to hear sometimes, im sure. Being honest can hurt sometimes but at least I dont have to make up lies afters lies to cover up a problem. Guess I have to much heart but I'll stick with my heart its closest thing to having a best friend advise me on How, Who, or What I want...

I'll bet he is a scammer of some kind; he is not actually looking for a relationship.

Kudos for going out of your way! I have to agree with everyone else, something just isn't kosher there.

Just a quick note... This kinda goes in the opposite direction. I've been on other personals sites before and have replied to certain profiles that I strangely enough got a response from. The person on the other end of the internet was a scammer and probably not even a woman. To top it all off "it" was also foreign and obviously using a translating program to reply to my emails. This happened to me three times on two different sites. Funny part is that their stories were very similar.

So the people that are sending you these winks or whatever that have no profile info, may be scammers. Just a thought.... Still though, if they are using the internet lingo, they may just be retarded.
