lol brother . prison has its politics .. and sometimes you cant escape them on the outside . .. be real be upfront and truthful with the girls .. alot of them will bail but there are some who understand and will stay with you .. keep trying .. and like i said be up front and truthful ...a girl may forgive your past but will never forgive a lie

For myself the issue wouldn't be too tough. Not the charges or the time.
But my issue would be the fact that somebody ran instead of facing the consequences of their mistakes.
Would the same thing carry over into a relationship?
Would the person run when things get difficult?

no-one should judge u the past is the past...if that were the case i would judge my own mother bc she was an inmate at one time and she is the coolest person you could meet!!!

unfortunately for you you will be judged alot in your life time for your mistakes. I say always be honest with anyone you seek a relationship with about it. You are young and hopefully have learned a hard lesson. You did your time now make a life for yourself. I know an ex inmate that came out,got a job,got married,went to school,had kids and now he has grandkids. Great guy. He learned his lesson. But it wasn't easy on him. He had to do alot of "proving" himself over the years. Good luck to you man!

If you want peoples honest opinion try checking out the thread on dating a felon. It's harsh but at the same time it lets you know how people feel about it.

are you a bad person? why would you ask that question of complete strangers?
i have no clue what your past was like, what you've done, what you're doing now, or what you plan on doing in the future. (besides the escape charges, for whatever offense you were charged with, which could range from community corrections escape, to walking away from work release, to not complying with rehab, leaving state on probation, or parole, the list goes on for miles).
you "should" know if you've behaved badly, are behaving badly now, or are planning to behave badly. if you truly don't know (which some people don't know), i'd say get some professional help to find out why you need to be validated by complete strangers. you might be able to learn what the word "bad person" means.
maybe one day you'll be able to figure out, on your own, whether or not you're a "bad" person.
