DateHookup.dating meets eHarmony. What I mean by that is this:
You know how eHarmony advertises finding your one true soulmate, "based on compatibility?" The problem with that is they want an arm and a leg to join. DateHookup.dating is 100% free, even for the "premium" features that you'd have to pay to get at other "free" sites (btw, why is contacting people considered "premium?" It's a basic part of ANY community website!), but only match you with the proverbial picture and profile.
Why not combine the best of both worlds and get a "freeharmony.com" for lack of a better term?

Like that is really going to happen. And how do we know that eharmony really works?

My step daughter talked me into signing up with eHarmony. She and I sat together for an hour and filled out page after page of questions.
After all that time
"Sorry we are unable to match you at this time."
Out of all their supposed members there is nobody that matches me?
We laughed, she wrote them a nasty email, got my money returned and now eHarmony is a joke I tell people to avoid.

I tried to sign up with eHarmony in the early days when you could fill out the entire profile before you actually joined. After 2 hours of filling out stuff, it came back and told me that it was (paraphrased) "Unable to pigeon hole me into one of its personality types, so they would not be able to properly assist me and I would not be happy with its services" Then it promptly deleted the account I had created. Thankfully I found that all out before I gave my credit card number out.
Frankly, I would find less usefulness in a pay site then a free site. While there is probalby more junk profiles on a free site, the site must do something right, or it would not stay running, whereas a pay site has your money, what do they care if you actually find anyone or the site offers anything of value.
I would like it if this site was a bit more strict in its matching, I have had people come up on my searches sorted by best match and they are WAY off...cannot even figure out how it matched me with some people. Beginningn to think if you mark one field the same, or have at least one common interest, your a match.

Because on eharmony they have thing where they say they try to match you and can turn around and say your unmatchable and take your money
