Why is it that men are all about your picture? I say they judge on looks, they say they don't. I say I am right. Anyways, pictures or not I give up. Am tired of posting winks or sending emails and getting no replys back. Goodluck to the rest of you all though.

lora....I know it's frustrating, but don't you have to be attracted first to a mans looks? Isn't it the first thing or sense that draws you to that person? We all have preferences and I am sure you do too and I have to say, that men are very visual by nature. I know, I have to see the man first to determine if I find him attractive enough to get to know his character and personality. I have tried to go with just the inside part, but it never works out. I just was not attracted to the whole package.I feel all senses have to click and if you are not attracted to their outside for some reason, then how do you make it work? I had a boyfriend my friends thought was not very attractive, but I was very attracted to him....I didn't care! It is what my eye tells me and what my eye makes my heart swoon for him....and being attracted to some part of his looks was all part of that.
I wished it was only on the inside that counts....but nature just doesn't work that way. I am not blessed with a beautiful body and face, but some men have been attracted to me. It's the whole package and not much you can do about it,but be patient for that one guy who will want you from head to toe and inside out!
Good Luck....I know my luck has not been good either, but time will tell!

I say you are right. That is all they care about is your picture. Either they want one up right away or they wont respond to you, or they want an updated one. They are lucky what they got. At least you have a picture up period. How do we know that is their picture they have posted? I have seen guys that look like GQ models with big rippled muscles and it ends up they got it off a website that advertises models...

I am sorry you are leaving. I think everybody is about pictures. For a person in general it is the first initial step...attraction. If they are attracted to you then they go further to get to know you.

I must say that I am all about pics if I am trying to get to know someone for a possible relationship. I want to know what the person looks like so that I don't create my own vision in my mind. If that was the case, everyone without pics would look like Jessica Biel. If I ever met someone and they weren't that ideal that I placed in my mind, it is already setting it up for disappointment.

Don't give up so easily. There is someone for everyone.
Keep your sense of humor and keep posting, you'll see.
Looks fade as we all grow older. These guys who are so hung
up on looks will one day look in the mirror themselves and
not like what they see.

So Lora...are you saying that it's the absence of pix...or the fact that they aren't attracted to a pic? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...don't waste your energy on someone who has another preference. There was a thread on earlier about "preference"... See if you can find it...it may help you with you question. In the meantime, good luck with your search...I'm a firm believer that there's a match for everyone...but it does take patience & a positive attitude...
