I am so darn tired of that real men in Ct thread, I for one have never met a man in CT or anywhere else for that matter that was not made up of flesh and blood. They always looked real..........what does a fake man look like........wax......
It would be interesting to see what men in CT think of women..........

Personally I thought they gave us some very strong opinions in that same thread, and they were much the same.
So can we please move on to brighter things?
For the nth time.... we're not getting anywhere complaining to each other (which I fear this topic will encourage more of.)
Let's focus on the positives!
Damn Liatris your bubbliness is rubbing off on me

To hear a woman say "Do men find it hard to find a good woman?" sounds like she is asking: "Do men realize I am here?"
Both men and women want the same things in life. I just think that online opens the door to display each other's mediocrity more bluntly than they would, in person. I often wonder why I keep posting profiles online myself
My answer is: "Because I can't be the only worthwile person signing up." But it really is like finding a needle in a haystack
My answer to you is, don't rely on online contacts alone. Diversify! Join activity groups with interests in common, out in the real world. Since this is so uncertain and most times, a failure at best... put it in the backburner.
Then I promise you it will not seem like you are a diamond lost in the coals

Come on echinacea... Sam Adams Winter Ale for me, or Pete's Strawberry Blonde.
You know what I meant
Heck, I am not into Nascar or football but most guys I meet online aren't into Russell Watson either...
Some differences we can all handle. It is the deeper ones that make or break a pair: Loyalty, commitment, goals to start or not start a family...

Gotcha..
I guess they do, by all the IMs and e-mails I see, begging for a rendevouz with a stranger for self-gratification with no strings attached.
WTF, what's so hard (no pun) about just paying a damn escort and leaving the rest alone?

Hummm.
Well Firedpt_15 I can't speak for all CT men (frankly I'm probably not qualified to speak as a full fledged CT man - sense I wasn't born here) but I will share my take on the CT sea in which we all fish in.
I'm probably perceived as one of the 'not so desirable CT guys' you indicate in your question. And honestly that doesn't upset me in the slightest. Maybe what you're seeing in the ponds you're fishing in are others just like me? Let me explain.
Personally I've decided to swim with the rest of the school until I meet the girl of my dreams. When that happens I will give up all of my 'player' ways and settle down once again. But until then I will continue to wine and dine with the rest of the school.
I think one of the pieces of advice I'm trying to share is, that if he (or she) still seems to be fishing for a better catch, than maybe he's not The One for you. And maybe he feels the same way about you and this relationship; maybe he just doesn't have the nibblits to tell you to your face? Whether it takes days, weeks, or months to get to this conclusion in a relationship, just be honest and open with the other person when it does happen. A very wise female friend of mine once shared this line "on" me:
"You're a great guy, you really are! But your not the right guy for me. Please don't take this personal it's just the truth." (We're still dear friends to this day because of this).
CT girls don't get discouraged. He's out there. You just have to wade yourself in the shallow water until he gets to the surface.
Keep trolling and sooner than later you'll snag the perfect catch.
I'm out there where are you?
