I did buy my wife a gold plated rose once.........went all the way to Ft Worth to buy it- it weighed a ton. It is now in the bottom of lake Hefner along with our wedding rings- If anyone has a metal detector- be my guest!!!

We went to Beale St and had dinner, I bought her a red rose from the street vendor and we took the trolley to the show. We had 2nd row center tickets and when BC began singing Feel Like Making Love I talked her into throwing the rose on the stage. The singer picked the rose up and began singing to her with it. Her and I slow danced while the rest of the audience sat and watched. After the song the singer climbed down and gave her the rose back while the crowd cheared. That was a very special evening.

All the vets were closed for Christmas so I had this calf in my garage for two days. (how thoughtful). He also had diet root beer, in case I didn't want to drink alcohol.
