Is it just me or do men think they are going to get somewhere emailing me and saying "I want to do you" "know you" ect... whats the point? One even emailed me and said "I love little boys" thats all!!!!!, how am I supposed to view that? it sounds very pedo to me. Why can't people just act like they have some common sense, I know some are lacking social skills, but they can't be that retarded if they can operate a computer.

The anonymity of the Internet sometimes brings out the worst in people.

Annetts, I think some of them are seriously dellusional when they get on here and check us out or they are drinking and in a "mood" I just told one the other day when i wanted to throw darts at something, I'd request his nude picture, Until then no thx.

I think its not so much of "Guts or glory" thing , although i may be wrong as i never claimed to be Mr.Perfect ,lol.
But it may have something to do with lack of communication or poor vocabulary perhaps , or simply because some men would not approach a business woman(for example) wearing a tee shirt and shorts and expect to be taken seriously.
While on the NET we have a great equalizer of sorts , where we are all for a minute or so Equal regardless of social economic status.
This person or persons might actually think they have a chance with you and don't know any better that their language is their greatest handicap.

Opening emails is a lot like opening Christmas presents. Sometimes you get the cheap gift that shows that someone put no thought whatsoever into it, sometimes it's a nice gift - nothing all that exciting, and once in a while, you'll open one that makes you realize that thought and care was put into it!
I find it hard to believe that somewhere in these threads Troy hasn't claimed to be Mr. Perfect!!

It is creepo's like that guy you guys are talking about that are partly why I don't post my picture publicly...I would have nightmares about him stalking my little girls and I.
Yuck.
I'm not sure what to suggest. But when I get weird email or IM requests from guys that are CLUELESS, I just usually delete them and hope they'll go away. I figure replying to them only encourages them.
I would report that guy too, if I were you.

I'm the same way with my son ... too many peds out there that I don't want any chance of getting that phone call asking where my son is. He is 9 years old and even though I've warned him about strangers he still has a respect on adults to listen to them.
