Not sure if this was asked before but is it strange for a woman to ask a guy out?
I see this guy every other day if not every day and we do exchange glances. I am shy and trying to get over that and also afraid of rejection, but I would like to give it a try.
I would like everyones opinion and maybe some advice, please.

i would move the conversation around to see if he has any one he is interested in first.
if a go.. then ask him out for coffee or a movie ect...
whats the worse he can say...
no... then smile and say okay... and walk away..
men have to do it all the time before the new improved liberated man was born.
now us women need to do it, if we ever want a date. OH and expect to pay for the
whole thing, cause that is what the new and improved liberated man is all about
NOT paying any money.

Before you ask him out, start with a little rapport to see if there's chemistry on both sides of the equation.
Being shy, you may want to plant seeds first each day just to get a feel of his reaction before you ask him.
Again, it's not strange to ask a guy out. Good luck.

Coffee lunch, a day date. Nothing wrong with that. Ask about sports. The Gators and FSU etc. Get his email.
Rejection is a big one. You need to get over that. Easier said than done. Think about it this way. If you don't ask, you get rejected by default. NO! If you do ask, your chance is 50/50.

My experiance getting back into this so far is this...
If you do ask a man out you ARE the one to pay. Still it's ok to ask
for the first date. I don't think it's good for a woman to ask for the
second. He needs to have the freedom to ask for a second date other wise
how will you know if he really likes you? Men do use women too for a free
meal believe me.
I feel happiest when I know a man likes me for me. So show him you like
him ask him out but then give him the respect to like you enough too by
asking you out. If he don't make a second date during your first date or the week
after your date move on.

Find yourself in close proximity to him...at the store, go to where he is...right next to him..make an excuse to talk to him...ask his advice on the lettuce you're standing in front of, for example...DON'T BE SHY! YOUR FUTURE COULD BE AT STAKE HERE! ehehehe
Tell him you've seen him around and then ask questions...strike up a conversation..."do you work around here...I always see you here?" Look for an opportunity to ask the big question..."I see no ring on your finger, so I assume you're not married...are you dating anyone?" & "would you like to have lunch someday?". Be bold at the moment...practice makes perfect...so what if 9 guys you ask seem uninterested, the next one may be different.
Unless he's painfully shy or just plain ignorant, you will get his attention. You look like a sharp lady...and good looking. All you need is the confidence to go with it.

No, it is not wrong to ask a guy out. Go for something you want. don't let it get by. A pretty woman like you shouldn't have any problems whats so ever. Whats the worst that can happen, him say no. Ask me I'll go.
