I figured out why I like winks. I guess becuase it doesn't leave that rejected kind of feeling in the pit of your stomach as when you send someone a nice email and then check and all you see is deleted. At least with a wink, you don't know that they have just looked and clicked.

My thoughts are that if someone doesn't reply, it's common sense to realize they are not interested. It's happened to me alot and, yes, it hurts my feelings and I wonder why their not interested. Then I take a deep breath and get over it. I am just as guilty of not always replying if I'm not intertested. Back to topic...I don't like winks as much as an e mail. I would prefer a short message.
