I've been wondering why is it hard for a person with a disability too find that special someone.I'am on disability and its really hard for me to find someone that respect me for who i am.

Well being honest if it was a disabled woman I would have a hard time initiating a relationship...if it someone who became disabled while I was with them then that would not matter to me.
I guess your best bet is to seek out other disabled people?

OP, it's hard for most of us to find someone special and that respects us. A disability is just one of many issues and preferences we all have to deal with.
For me, it would depend on what the disability was, how much care the other person would require, does the person have enough income to support themselves, will the disability get progressively worse, etc. before making that choice.
