Of course women still like flowers.
Personally I prefer wildflowers (or pretty weeds  ) that the guy picked himself.
Of course that doesn't work in the colder months.
I also think roses are so over done that they have lost the whole 'specialness'. And really no thought goes into them. It is an easy out, grab a rose or roses. And after all it is the thought behind them that really counts. So be original, put some thought into it when giving flowers.
A pretty live plant can be an awesome thing to give a woman too. They last a whole lot longer.

I have never been a flower person. I use to have alot of plants but lost them a few years ago when my mom was sick because I forgot them and left them in a house with no heat on. So I haven't gotten back into plants either. I think I would just rather have quality time with someone.

i love flowers that are growing in a pot and that i can transplant into my yard,
the cuts ones are nice, if you only bring ONE...
i really do not need a dozen roses..
had that.. and realized after so many times, it made me sad watching them die.
plus cleaning the smelly water every day in the vase.

someone said wild flowers.. yes if you pick them in the spring..
(on the side of the road it is a crime, in texas, but if you can do it with out getting caught.. terrible for me to say, but some of the prettiest have been cultivated there over the years, by the texas hwy/flower program.
just please do not get caught by the hwy patrol.. its a 300.00 dollar ticket.
i do love the spring flowers.. and to take the time, well it makes me feel special.

Flowers are a way of saying many things, and the most important thing is that I am thinking of you and I care enough to take the time and energy to bring you something from me, now you really can't beat that, someone that cares enough to do that for you. That is completely true. I had a guy that would stop along side of the road every once in awhile and pick me a wildflower. He also had some beautiful rose bushes that he would always bring to me when they bloomed. He did bring me flowers bought from the store on 2 other occasions in our 5 year relationship. They all meant a lot, but I think if he would have just had them delivered, it wouldn't have meant as much.

Yes I truly do love them and the majority of women that i know love them too. It does not even have to be a dozen long stem roses...it can be a simple daisy...it is the thought that counts...I sent them to a guy I dated once and he really enjoyed getting them and it was a nice suprise for him.

It scares the hell out of me to get flowers. I got flowers from the ex right before I found out he cheated on me, it always reminds me of that. I do love those really fuzzy, soft slipper sox, if I could get a bouquet of those that would be the best!

I adore and luv, luv flowers. Carnations are the only ones I prefer to not get close to because of the smell. They make me think of funeral homes.
The glorious smelling gardenia is my favorite.

Yes women love flowers. Women love surprises that show you care or are thinking about them. If your relationship is open to family and friends I would send them to her whenever possible. It is always nice to get them at work or home.

I think that if a man were to find a nice woman, he should come up with flowers or any kind of expressions of how he feels towards her. I would not do something just because everyone else does it....or doesn't do it. Try some originality --be unique. A little goes a long way when you show a person how much you care about them.

Flowers to me are a symbol of beauty, freshness and innocence. I love them, although some of the "bunches" that I have in my house are not real though.
