speaking of holidays does everyone know about steak and BJ day ....i think it's the best one of them all and it's the day after valentines since feb. 14th is mainly for the women , men came up with a kinda thank you for yesterday holiday no cards,flowers,jewelry,nighties etc.. just a steak and a BJ

i wish i could take credit for it i really do and i was wrong it's on mar. 14th but it's true it's a movement but it's not going to be legitimzed until hallmark starts making cards which isn't going to happen but google steak and bj day and see what you find there is even a pettion to congress to make it an offical holiday ...oh and every man on here should go sign the pettion

Actually Sweetest Day is more of a Midwest mini holiday. It is always the third Saturday in October. YOu are supposed to recognize someone in your life that is SWEET. Yes it is more of a hallmark holiday and it puts pressure on all of us up here in the Midwest that dont have anyone special in there life to say it to. So we usually try not to remember it.

i heard about it last year from a girl in china, lol. they take those hallmark holidays seriously. i thought she made a mistake i said, 'no, valentines day is in february'. then i thought she was telling me about a chinese holiday. after i looked it up, i had to tell her in new york we never celebrated it.
what do they mean october doesnt have enough holidays, we have columbus/native american day (depending on ur leanings); halloween, yom kippur often falls in october (recognized school holiday}.
today was "it's my park! day" and i planted 21 trees. i didnt even realize it was sweetest day, but now that im back, "happy sweetest day!!!" hope this site was sweet enuff for u all! and thanks for the sweet wishes today!
