I had a 70 Chevelle SS, that I completly rebuilt (had to things kept breaking)! Only a motor head would understand. After I got the Motor perfect, the driveline twisted like a corkscrew. Fixed that with bigger and better, then sheared all 10 lugs off the rear, yes I was running 50's. My dad sold it for me when I moved to take a better job. Wish I still had her!
So what car did you have that you wish you still had?

56 vette, i chopped it, put a 265 v-8 motor in it.. whew, it was fast. wish I hadnt chopped it.
63 vette, restored it and sold it for $8000 in 1978.
76 280z... bought it in '97, restored it, sold it because of a divorce. That was one fast car. When you punched it from a start, the front end didnt lift like normal, that sucker just jumped off the line. It would get all 180 on the speedometer. Too scary for me.
65 falcon that i dropped a 289 in. 411 rear end so it would top out on the hwy at around 50 mph, but I won a few $$$ dragging folks.
I wish I had an old 56 bird to refurbish. one day.....

I still wish I had my 66 Corvette Show and Go...This picture was taken in 1968 on a color poloroid camera...It is the first Street Rod I ever built...right after getting home from overseas (Naum and Okinawa)...
I had a 427 with dual four's crss-ram intake and the velocity stacks coming thur the Hood...and custom built headers coming out the side of the fenders...A special built Roll Bar.....Tangerine Orange with Lacing Paint Job which was popular back then....
It was a BAD BOY TOY back then and still would be today in the Street Rod Scene and World..
