Being single: The toilet seat is always down.

Single - reading the sports page first, its all fresh and clean and you can fold it anyway you need to.
Relationship - you get the sports page second.(if you can find it)..looking like a dog had it first, coffee spilled on it and folded like a piece of origami..

Single: Not having to tiptoe around as not to wake anyone up. Not having to report in as to where I am at any given time.
Relationship: Having someone to give reason to stay in the bed and not be tiptoing around. Having someone who gives two hoots as to where I am and if I am safe. Holding, sharing, snuggling, caring about someone enough to watch the kinds of movies I don't really care for but just being close and having someone watch my kind of movies and not get all huffy about it. Knowing they are there when you just gotta tell someone the exciting news you just heard. Smiling for no apparent reason.
