caviya Millsap, TX age: 50	As ya'll know I am a Hospice Nurse and take care of the dying. It is what I do best. After 31 years of Nursing, this is truly my calling. Days off, either farm chores or riding out yonder having a blast. Never get bored!

mineralgirl Sugar Land, TX age: 32	I can't complain about either of my jobs, I'm a dance instructor in training, who wouldn't want to dance all day, and I own a businees from my home. The only complaint there is a webdesigner recently screwed me and I now have my ex trying to fix it all for me. My time off is usually spent catching up with house work, since I do have a little one dstroying all the time. I don't get much down time, I'll put it that way.

becca8683 Henderson, TX age: 43	Hmmmm......By day, I'm a legal secretary, a job I love in spite of the crazy people that always seem to find our office. I get 1 week's paid vacation a year but I also get 18 paid holidays a year. I could tell you some great ones about some of the people I've had come in my office. By night, I'm a waitress in a mexican restaurant. I hate people who don't tip. We don't get paid minimum wage, like most people. I make $2.13 an hour plus tips. And I hate the people who take up my table for 2 hours after they finish eating, cutting into my tip money & then don't tip. Sometimes, I'm only responsible for 3 or 4 tables at a time. Hey, give us a break. We are on our feet, walking miles in a shift, taking care of you. And if you're demanding, wellllll, you need to work my job & wait on someone who acts like you do. Maybe you'd be more understanding. You have no idea how hard it is to smile at you after you've just been a jerk. And, just a little FYI, hot food will go to a table of customers before cold drinks will be brought to yours. Unless you like getting cold food!!! OK, that's my vent for the day. I'm gonna quietly slip off into my little corner now.

sale1970 Katy, TX age: 39	I work many jobs,and any of them i like because they where Honest.Also go to the scholl,and work like everybody else,but im not complainer,like to work,and most important i like what i do. Im working at High Rise Condominium building,residental of course like Administrative clerk,and im very good with it,because i like working with people.My job is the help my residents with any unit isuess,calling vendors for them,and company's that they got contract with us,also helping them with private Party's,organize any single details for them,and very important thing in my job making them Happy.Boring part of my job is paperwork,but somebody has to do it.Job is very good paid,and paying my bills.

tx_blu_eyz67 San Antonio, TX age: 42	i like my job and have been there 10= yrs but i got a 2.50 drop in my base salary cuz they thought i was making so much..well now i go in late,i leave ealier than i used to to stay late and i wont work extra no more cuz they pissed me off.so how about them apples?

chat_girl Desoto, TX age: 47	I work for a pay day cash advance company as a teller. When I first started it was challanging, I loved that , now it can be QUITE boring. The up part is meeting the different people. some of the regulars actually become my friends. I like giving the personal touch, like I might bake a cake and take it in for my customers. The down side is when we get customers that don't pay their debt, then I have to be the bad guy and make collection calls. Or those that get angry because they don't qualify for a loan. They suddenly start accusing me of being raceist. But i just let it roll off my back like a duck. , I consintrate on the positives, those that have become friends, and my manager. We get along great. The pay is better than when I worked at the museum, and I am CLOSER to home wich is great!

Becca, years ago I too was a waitress and I can so relate with the tip situation and just how rude folks can be and look down on you....yet expect excellent service.... But I always loved my regulars and most were great. So you just keep on keeping on, and no worries about those non-tipping butheads!! 1guest, ya know what? You work, you pay your bills, you do the best you can. So intimadation is not a factor here at all. So again, no worries there!! Mineralgirl, I did not know you had two jobs, wow at home too. how cool is that!! Blueyz, funny how when ya start making good money, some have throw a fit. They don't even think how hard you worked to get there. Don't blame ya for being pissed, and i'd do the same thing as you. Nursing in hospitals, nursing homes, Dr. offices, just stinks. You are expected to do the work of 5 people, overloaded and just cannot give the care. That is why I love my job now. one on one. sure the hours are long, but does not bother me at all. Hey, maybe riding again this weekend...Yipeee!!

chat_girl Desoto, TX age: 47	Yesterday was one of those days that I loved, I was able to make a customer laugh and blush all at the same time. A youg woman came in to get a loan, after we conducted our bussiness joking while we did. She said this was a good experience, I replied pointing to my young boss: And the Man candy wasn't bad to look at either, right. She laughed a blushed so hard, she couldn't leave fast enough. I could tell she was attracted to him, I couldn't resist. My boss got a kick out of it.

caviya Millsap, TX age: 50	Oh Chat, you are so bad in such a good way!! That was too funny7!! I got my assingment last night. Was told going to be with a 99 yr old lady that was on for "Failure to thrive".....now this usually means coma and pending death. Well let me tell ya, I got there and this gal was wilder than a march hair in heat. She was talking off the wall about who knows what, got mad at me for sitiing down on a "dead man" in that chair. I mean one wild little thing!! So "failure to thrive" I think the admitting Nurse did not get enough sleep. So it was one fun night I can tell ya, I was laughing so hard, she was freakin onery!! Going back tonight, so somebuddy Me!! Hey 99...I say 'You Go Girl!!"
