affection and flirting with my guy in public goes hand in hand.. holding hands, stopping for kisses, a pat on the butt... it can be done with class and still be alot of fun

I am not much of a PDA person in public. I think it was the way I was raised. I will hold someone's hand if I am really feeling it. I am not that reserved but I guess it depends on the man and the mood

I'm with trublu on this one, holding hands, carressing, touching, brushing her hair from her eyes, little kisses here and there, those done correctly are enough for people to start telling you to get a room, because they can tell from the way you are looking at one another, that you might need one, or just came from one.

Romance romance romance. Holding hands, small soft kisses, putting your hand on the small of her back, a small pat on the behind as she goes through the door ahead of you.

so long as she's ok with it, I'm down with a little of what edz might call snogging, in public, and holding hands definately. Not big on groping in public, as I think at some point you're just kind of showing off, but definately nothing wrong with indicating that you're taken. Just call me mildly conservative on that matter I suppose. Depends. If we're dancing, I'm not above putting my hands around a lady's buns if she's comfortable with it.

...PDA is one of the romantic moments in a relationship...but once it turns into being territorial, it may be a sign of closeted intense jealousy...

well cholo, in my experience, a small amount of jealousy is normal or even desired by women. Notice I said small. Most women like to feel desired and want you to at least care if they decided to run off with some other dude. But there's a world of difference between wanting someone all to yourself and stalking/eavesdropping/etc. Trust is essential to any relationship, as you can't be around eachother 24/7 and ultimately if the person wants to cheat on you, they'll find a way. Ultimately, though, I think it's really more being considerate to others if you show some signal of being together as it helps prevent ackward embarassing moments, and on the same hand, doesn't stop guys from taking an interest in my sister if we're out having lunch together. (that's a hypothetical situation as both of my sisters are happily married.) But you get what I'm saying. Not every man and woman who are together in public are "Together." My best friend happens to be a woman I met in highschool. There wasn't any chemistry but we hit it off on a friendship level so we consider ourselves platonic soulmates. She's happily married now too, but we still have marathon phone conversations as we've just got a lot in common. My point was, that when we used to hang out, people either assumed that we were bf/gf or else brother and sister, even though we look nothing alike. Some amount of PDA helps communicate this. Now does this mean it's ok to stick your hand down your partner's shirt every time a cute guy walks by to show possesion? HELL NO!! You've gotta respect your partner. That's my 2 on the matter.

JMO but i think public displays of affection show everyone around you just how much you mean to one another and they are fine. So long as it is tasteful. There is a time and a place to cop a feel not in front of an elderly couple or anything like that but its all okay in public. Makes most woman feel wanted and desired as well.

I agree with Cholo2.. I don't want to be pawed in public, its uncomfortable. I want to feel that the guy likes me yes, but there is a point where you have to draw the line. I mean I don't want to feel like a tree he just pissed on an claimed. I think its exceptable to hug, or a quick peck. But when it starts to get to groping...time to get a room.

I like indiscrete displays of affection; Nothing turns me on more than to have the person I'm with look deep into my eyes and Wink!
If the person is in a conversations with others and looks at me and blushes and forgets what he was talking about.
If he just can't help himself but walk over when I least expect it and lighty kiss me.
