If there are any R/C fans out there lets see pics of your toys.

Heres a couple pic of my last project and the pride of my Hanger. I built this plane from scratch using kit parts from Great Planes Models. Its powered by a Fuji bt50 gas engine. I custom cut and laid out the covering myself. It took me over two years to build this plane and it is a scale version of the Christan Eagle Pitt special flown by the aerobatic team of the same name. Unfortunately i don't think they are flying anymore. I have only flown this plane twice so far and I'm still learning how to control it. Once i get a handle on it I'm going to try to get some vids made.

Of course GPM has an ARF kit of this same plane now that they released shortly after I built this one just my luck.

Here is my ground pounder. All the details are painted using an air brush. Just the headlights and Dodge window banner are decals. As they say "the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys"

nice t-maxx is which engine you got? i have an electric rustler and a electric 4-tec that i used to run here at a local track about 10 of us all had the rustlers and would have some helluva races. we put dirt latemodel bodies on them and ran them as a series for about 6 or 8 weeks. unfortunatly i havent had the money the last 5 yrs to mess with them much but the rest of the guys still keep upgrading and buying new and better models. damn i miss it

I rebuilt my T-maxx last year. It now has twin Ofna hyper 7's. I dyno'd it at 5.2 hp and did an all out speed run and hit 74mph with room to spare for regearing to get more top end. Now if I can just get stronger difs lol I keep breaking them, I'll update the pics of it soon.

If I live long enough, I'd like to have that Century R/C Bell 47G. It's a hell of alot smaller and economical, then that Hirobo model.

I started in R/C aviation in the '60's and have now about 15 different aircraft. My first one was a single channel "Jr. Falcon." It weighed 1 pound with Cox Thimble Drome .049 and 37" wing. It had a rubber band powered escapement. You all know how to get the optimum performance from a rubber band, right? Wind it up until it breaks and then back off one turn! lol I then went into pulse proportional in the Jr. Falcon with an Adam's Actuator. I still have the aircraft but it has a digital system in it now.

The next aircraft was an "Esquire" with a "Galloping Ghost" system and a .19, which is still operational. I have heard of the "Kicking Duck" system, but have never seen one. At that time, I did see some aircraft using different systems including pulse ommicion detectors. I suspect that none of you have ever heard of any of those systems.

Later I went into digital propo. I have three tail less aircraft from the Simitar series that I built from plans using styrofoam as ribs instead of the foam core. It works very well. I have the Slow Motion with a .40 and electronic mixer, the Sierra Trainer with a .28 and mechanical mixer and the Skywalker is still being built. None of lthem look like they could possibly fly since they do not have horizontal stabilizers, but they fly very well.

Any one have any questions?

Take care.

I'm pretty much into ground racing. I do have a small helicopter that is fun to fly. Here is my stable and I also developed and market the Wheel Pig...adjustable wheel weight system for RC rock crawlers. Plus the scale teeter totter that makes grown men cry.
