I totally agree,
It's like going to a dance and you see someone you would like to get to know. Go up and say hi.
We are too old to be playing high school games.
Sometimes I wonder how may opportunities where missed because the gal did not make the first move.
Guys are human too.

I see that all the beautiful women seem to be in Omaha like italianlady. I just wish there were more to choose from in lincon. I like writing long letters on these sites, but not much comes of it, but they usually say they appreciate an intelligent letter.

it must be all that sexual harassment training in the work place. 
I always at least try to say when passing in someone I make eye contact and a smile .
I think we have become to much of a fast paced society and don't take the time to observe the great things in life. JMHO

that is the story I hear from ladies on here too...they don't want to waste a lot of time getting to know the guys...they just want to meet and if there are sparks, you might geta second date, if there are no sparks, you are out of luck...why waste time with personalities.

It really depends .... Sometimes I will make the first move and other times I want a guy to make the first move. With the other person making the first move, it tells me how much they care and how much they wanna get to know me. Other times if I'm bored and wanna find someone to hang out with, I'll do the talkin first. It's ok to make asses out of ourselves sometimes. It's so much more fun. Just be yourself cuz I hate fake ppl.

Italianlady...I wish more women would think the way you do. I think the "guilt" for that happening (or not happening) is much more on women than on us guys.
I find that many women like to play "I am hard to get" game.
Both sides lose by that.

glad you've noticed Kermit. did you take the same kind of classes in your early days?
i am not upset about it at all, i see it like this...
1) i got free advertisement...any is good whether positive or negative
2) people who believe lies about me are not of my interest anyway
3) people who i am interested in are enough intelligent not to buy that crap
4) a person when spreding this kind of false stories about me is to rather intelligent people actually saying a lot about herself and nothing about me.
it's just sad it happens sometime. we are supposed to be here to have some fun and God knows, some of us can get lucky to find mr. or mrs. right. if not, life goes on...no reason for anyone to be spilling bitterness around.
