I'm not looking for a side order of sex..not anymore..I admit in times past, that was all I thought was needed..
but I'm looking for a long haul..a companion I can share a cheeseburger with..or filet mignon, depending on the mood of the day..and the next..and the next..and so on.
Eye candy is just that-candy to grab my attention..distract me from long range goals ..heart candy is what I'm after today..and when the heart is satisfied..the eyes may get their fill.

I used to play in band in h.s. and college..I didnt play well..I was always a beat off with the rest of the band..
With practice , some day I hope to be in tempo with life..and not just a beat off.

oops just the perv in me..sorry...
I could go for casual fridays..and saturdays, sundays..mondays..etc.. I'm comfortable in jeans and a t shirt than more formal wear..but it does feel good to dress up every so often.

I guess if I look back on my past relationships, and everyone's is different, I know that none of them were fast paced nor a snap. My ex and I dated for 3 years before we got married and I know we dated for 4 or 5 months before it was in any way serious. We had and recognized our differences BEFORE we ever married. We were married 27 years. So I guess if you thought about relationships mathmatically and you reasoned it out it could be calculated that the length of the courtship equaled the sum of the marriage?
Probably not any quantifiable realtionship there.... lol
I do know that if it were my decision alone I would STILL be married.
I see a lot of people that go from single to engaged to married in 3 months or less.... can you really know someone that well that quickly to imagine that the meal is even warmed enough, let alone ready to eat?
Most probably don't even know what's on the menu.
Drive in (by) Relationships..... probably doomed before they start, there will always be exceptions.... depends on the ingredients, passion, devotion and creativity of the cooks.
I like mine medium rare....

Man, it's like I always say, never go shopping for that week's groceries when your hungry. same applies for looking for 'love'
Besides, a nice slow cooked roast beef dinner with all the fixins is way better than a McDonald's 'mystery meat' burger and 'sawdust' shake.

Since I work nights and come home tired, the fastes way to eat is fast food.. not as good as a home cooked meal, I am single and have not been motivated by any means to cook.. As for your question..men motivate me.
