Hey photo how young are you looking for. Wow there are many reasons why an older man or woman will date younger its an appeal for most. If the chemistry is there why not. I do agree with syndrome most of it is mid life crisis related and feeling younger yourself. But everyone has what he or she likes.

Photo I am not disagreeing with you on that. That is a factor too, but if you did survey every man that is at least 40 and older, a big number would say it's because it makes them feel young again. But it is also about physical attraction. I could ask "why do younger women like older guys?" I explained it in my previous post.

I agree with you syndrome. I think it has a lot with making the man feel younger and or a mid life crisis. As for why do younger women date older men... this chicky poo doesn't do that.. A couple of years is fine for an age difference..but, I can't do more then 6 or 7 yrs older. After that then it just starts to feel gross, almost like I am dating my father. I think that maybe the ladies that do date older men do so becuase they want someone to take care of them. They might feel more protected and secure in a relationship with an older man becuase of that whole father figure sort of thing. I dunno I can't imagine why they do it. To each their own, as long as ppl are happy, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

The fountain of youth can have a profound pull as time goes by. Women outlive men already on the average. Maybe an agreement w/younger lady 2 take care of the gentleman and still be young enough 2 enjoy his assets upon his demise. I think midlife crisis is overused as a catch all 2 explain spending patterns that didn't exist due partly 2 family and basic obligations. Kids grow up n move on, house is paid off. Why not spend a chunk of that money on yaself? I can understand wanting 2 leave money 4 ya kids but if there's no kids I can also appreciate wanting 2 bounce that last check on ya way out 4 the last laugh.

I think it's for the same reasons guys trade in the old cars for new ones. The new one looks more sleek, gets more miles to the gallon, and has plenty of power. Now I am not stating I agree, but the reasoning is there. I personally would rather keep my classic, and make sure she has all the up to date features, because we go back a long time and can relate to the finer things in life. However, at my age I'm not seeking someone too much older without buying the life alert system first But what do I know...
