Butter - I will be kind, and not overdo it. Those pictures take up a lot of storage on the internet. Some point in time, it will run short on storage.

In Photobucket you can make them smaller--something I learned after posting quite a few large ones.

Butter - Thank you, I will experiment with resizing, and see how small, I can get and still see the words.

The text here can be HTML. Thus you can do bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough By using the b, i, u, and s tags.
"Thus you can do <b>bold</b>, ...."
The hr tag produces a horizontal rule
The center tag does this.
Gee, how did I type the < and >? Well, they have to be escaped by using what are technically known as "Entities".
< produces <, a "less than" sign.
> produces >, a "less than" sign.
& produces &, an ampersand.
I could ramble on about indented lists or tables, but that's enough for now.

Not sure if I'm chiming in late or adding to the conversation or not, but this process of adding images on these types of boards isn't rocket science
The way some of you have described seems to work nicely but there *is* an easier way.
First...you need to find your "[" and "]" characters.
(left and right brackets)
On the left side of your image URL insert the left and right bracket with img between them
On the right side of your image URL insert the left and right bracket with /img between them
(this format is called VB code)
Some boards require a single space before and after the image URL... and this one seems to require that.
Ok... now that you've been surfing the net and have found THE image you want to share here... how do you do it?
I aint telling unless Vixen takes me sailing this weekend
Just kidding guys.
If you find an image you want to share, simply right click the image and choose properties.
The URL for the image will be in the pop-up box.
Highlight the URL... copy it... then paste it between your VB code brackets.
This sounds much more complicated than it really is.
BTW... the pic is from my web site.
Took it when I was staying at the Paris Hotel in Vegas.
If you guys are nice I'll start posting some of my tunes.
And Vixen??
If you're really nice I'll play and sing them for you in person
Michael

For you newer folks:
Go to PhotoBucket.com
Click on Find Stuff (at the top).
Use curser and go all the way down to the bottom and type in a search you wish to search in the search box ie: Butterfly
Select which photo, caption, or cartoon you wish, click on it.
Curse down to the bottom of selected item that you clicked on.
Under the item selected you will find Four (4) different links.
Go to the bottom one (IMG).
Go to the extreme left side of the IMG box.
Click on the box. You will see the word Copied, indicating it has been copied into your Edit portion of tool bar. It will replace anything in there.
Go back to your Datehookup Thread.
Go to Edit on your toolbar.
Paste into your thread.
You will see a link.
Go to bottom of Post.
Click on Preview, and you should see your item.
You then can Edit or Post.
