I had a woman on another dating site just yesterday send me her phone number because she saw my pic and profile wanted me to call her and "hook-up" with her that night. Flattering as it was, it was a huge turn-off to me. I simply sent her a message that said "thanks, but no thanks". Looking at her pic, she was cute I'll admit. But it was a turn-off because she assumed, I guess by how I looked, that I would go have sex with her, a total stranger. You see, I personally don't care to have sex with every woman I meet. And one-night stands are out of the question. I do enjoy sex though, but prefer to have it with a woman after at least the 2nd or 3rd date, when the 2 of us are more familiar and comfortable with each other. Even though I have no problem attracting women, doesn't mean I have to give in to every temptation, right? Is it wrong to not want to sleep with every woman that comes your way? The male ego would say no. I don't really understand what satisfaction you could get from sleeping with as many women as you can. Believe me, I understand why men do, but what's the point? I think it has to do with a lack of self-confidence. I'm naturally a self-confident man so that's probably why I don't have the desire to sleep with every woman that comes my way. I know there are REAL men out there like myself that are man enough to admit that they don't care to sleep with every women out there. Am I right?

Right. It's taxing to keep the morals of a gentleman in this era. Sadly, the knights of yore may be going to way of the dodo bird. I blame it on selective breeding vs. promiscuous breeding ..... which is why you started this topic in the first place. Quite a vicious circle.

I completely Know what your talking about! That is a big turn off to me to. I hate when your talking to someone and they ask for your number within like the first to conversations. Not only is that a turn off its creepy. You know they have issues. there are some females that do assume that you will sleep with them but it goes both ways trust me because some of you men completely blow me away at how confident you are at believing a few sweet words and interests we share is going to get you to 3rd base. EEEWWWW Barf!

asking for a phone number doesn't necessarily mean that you want to have sex, or at least i hope it doesn't! There are different ways of asking also, it's up to you to know the difference, and also whether you want to give it up or not. I for one would like to talk to someone via telephone before i go out and meet with them. I don't know maybe i'm different but i am glad that we have telephones so that i can chat and get to know someone a little better before i plunge into a disasterous live date.

well i give you much respect for holding out until the 2nd lol or 3rd date, and no sleeping with strangers says your a gentleman but even i wont give up no booty on the 2nd or 3rd date,, never got to lol have a 1 nighter either and dont think i ever want to, i wonder too about those women who think men will just sleep with you like that.., i notice lots of men now a days are like: "if its that easy i dont wont it" as to when i grew up and seen men and women just hooking up,

I have had two mails one from a female and ONE from a male asking me to send pics and "play on cam for them"
I never assume that some one will sleep with me or i will sleep with them.Specially if in first meeting after that and if we decide we want to start dateing then sex would be on the menu ,Not saying id never have sex on first date but i value sexual intercourse and only have it with a person i am with ie in realtionship ,hence been over 3 years for me,
me4aminute is the only person i can even think of wanting to get intimate with ,

It is turn off... I had trouble when I first got here. Within the first 3 days, wanted to quit (thanks skipaway for not letting me!) over the emails and pics. Developed a thicker skin, found the delete button and now tell them to try craigslist!
By posting, I also get the "so...your a freak in the sheets" stuff. Yep, I can have great fun...only with the one who makes me feel loved and secure enough to.
