Yes, and often very explicite conversations take place. I've spoken with ladies that actually get a release from talking openly about sex, wishing they could share their feeling with the guy they're with, but are afraid it would drive him away.
If you want to be good at something you need to practice. Baseball, Basketball
and most sports require constant repeated movements to perfect and develope hand and eye co-ordination. Verbal commands only enhance the performance.
Women talk to each other wishing they could tell their partner what to do and how to do it. Sometimes getting reassurance from girlfriends to try different things the next time they're together with their mate.

My DH gal friends and I totally talk sex and Bobs when we go out...The poor guys blush...Funny last time we went dancing not one WA man showed up just 4 of us gals...Maybe we scared them off with our sex talk...

If men could hear how women actually talk about sex they'd never get an erection ever again.
Imagine taking something you really like.. like say a puppy.. and dissecting it till there aren't any pieces left.
Mostly they concentrate on laughing at how just awful their previous ( many ) partners are and sparing no detail down to the mole on a testicle or the counting of back hairs while being spread open like a Easter ham.
