What a question! lol
Okay, every woman I have dated has been 5'6' or shorter. Personally, I like shorter girls. They are fun and they fit just right, in every situation. I love hugging and feeling that cute head of hair against my shoulder.
Short women always get my attention when they enter the room.
I think it has made me a bit picky, but whatever..

I would be more compatible with shorter women. I like women of all sizes, but the big reason for me is that I am a short guy myself, at 5'7". And I haven't seen much tall women into shorter guys. Preferably, I look for someone shorter, but it doesn't mean a thing to me.

It's all in the way they carry themselves...
Mary Lou Henner is barely 5 foot tall but a giant on the gymnastics floor.
My stepdaughter is a competative dancer.
(stepdaughter??... ehhh... ex-wife's daughter)
Always amazed me to see some of the older dancers backstage.
Some of those kids looked 10 feet tall on stage.... but when they stood next to me (6'3") they reverted back to the children they really are.
So I guess my answer is height really doesn't matter.
It's the way you carry yourself and your level of confidence.
Of course, your milage may vary.

Been reading your profile and the rest of the "stuff" on it and it seems like most replys are from out of state, but at least they are supportive and everyone needs support.
One man is right, you don't need someone who won't help with the bills,Leach!! sleeze ball. I work and have my own house, It's a three family but it's mine, clean and in a very nice neighborhood in Worcester. Yes, there really are some good ones here.
As for the little women, I would have no problem with that, being only 5'3" myself. I've had tall woman before but I hate to be in public with one that's taller than me. I think that she's the MALE partner and I don't do males 
I also read your essay and glad that you threw the bum out and you're a woman that can handle your life.
