Plenty of Fish is not allowing anyone to IM any more. Just wanted to give some of you a heads up if you are on that site. This is rediculous. They have cut out the Instant message feature. Now all you can do is email on that site.

That doesn't hurt my feelings.
I've been on POF for about 3 1/2 years and barely ever used the IM on that site during that entire time.
IMs from strangers annoy me anyways.
You can still send free emails on that site. So I fail to see what the complaining is about, over the loss of an IM service, that didn't work that well anyways, and that a significant number of users kept turned off so they couldn't be contacted by it.

singles net had a great forum ! And I loved it there . Made so many freinds and the gals where atleast friendly and didnt critisize my lousy spelling .Then they shut down there forum after I joined for two moths in advance .They suck !

POF sucks. There are so many restrictions on that site, I don't know how anyone meets anyone.
We complain about Dustin's 'chatting detected' and threads getting deleted and stuff, but DH is 10x better than POF.

I'm on that site..dont go there very often but I had to shut the IM OFF!!Drove me NUTZ..I couldnt get a email wrote without interruptions
I wish there was away to reject a IM in a polite way but there isnt..same with this IM here its just like the POF IM..Just pops up and its in the way until you either accept or reject
I like yahoo or hotmail messenger so much better anyways...
I guess I am kind of funny about it all..I just dont jump into a IM when I am doing other things ..That kind of time I like to plan for it ahead

Yeah and they are also moderating rooms and if they dont like you they cut your thread out. I had one questioning why bald men are always wearing hats in their pics - not like we are going to find out when we meet them. Thought it was good question in "Dating Experiences" Thread. I have seen some of the worst posts there that were not cut. It's a meat wagon in there anyway. Most are so plastic that are on that site.

I have just started checking out these sites.
I dont see any difference in any of them, when I search around my local area its all the same folks anyway, what difference does IM make anyway?
Everyone Ive talked to about dating sites is on 10-15 anyway.
A forum is a forum it doesnt matter where you go they are all the same.

I came here from there and brought 3 lady fish along with me.
The virtual gift thing is a bunch of crap and now they have a
Serious Member Badge (I call it the Committment Cookie) that members
can pay for.
I got booted from there for sending a red "virtual purse" to that
asshat "trapped." I think this site is a hell of a lot better.

I dislike IM ing anyhow,,,it is turned off on here,,,nothing worse than trying to type an e-mail and that goofy thing pops up and follows you all over the page, I am not a great typer and don't care to type short meaningless tidbits back and forth.Most of the people on POF are on here anyhow.
