1. A picnic at a Park.
2. A Park Ranger telling us to leave the park and chastising us
for bringing in a bottle of wine.
3. Suicidal Wings, Buffalo Shrimp and a couple pints of our
favorite brews at Mickey Gannons.
4. Tourists gawking at us from a bus as we said good bye to one another.

It was at a water park somewhere in Ohio. We had so much fun, I remember it so well because we we're walking pass a out door bingo hall and there had to be 100 little old ladies there and I yeld BINGO while walking by the hall. They all scrumbled up there bingo papers thinking someone hit the bingo and sorry it was just me yelling. There were some pretty well pissed off little old ladies, but anyway it was so funny my date laughed so hard she pissed her pants. Good thing we was at a water park.

You ask where was my Best date Ever. My answer is Gettisburgh. We wathced the president give the address. The cabby drove us: the president, our chief comptroller, the vice president of marketing and me to the house of the president. Oh, I'm a salesman for a breas reduction clinic, and all the executives are women. You can imagine the party in the prez' home. It was Valentine's day, 2005, and for some strange reason all three believed I was dating them exclusively.
If you wonder how I made money on selling such a product: Easiest job. I show up in my best suit and best haircut, open the door for them, close the door for them, put on my best behaviour, I act like a cross between a funeral parlor director, a used-car-salesman and a giggolo. In a half hour the customers are so stunned and intoxicated by the attention of a well-spoken, well-mannered mann, that they'd sign anything I shoved under their nose.
I don't take "unallocated benefits", as the HR binders call it, but I got reprimanded three times for getting a legally binding contract with men. It was bad, because by the time accounting woke up to what happened, the men have sued us for not keeping our promise in the contract.

Semi-long story....
I had met this woman at work - we worked in different departments and rarely crossed paths, but one day she stopped by to talk with a friend that I was having lunch with and he introduced us.
She was petite and cute with a streak of tomboy in her - picture Holly Hunter in the movie 'Always'. That was her.
We bumped into each other at a convenience store on the way home from work one day and went to have a beer at a local watering hole. It was a nice first get-to-know-you, but not a real date - that came a few weeks later.
I had gone to Houston to visit my best friend for my vacation that year. He's a jeweler who owned his own business making custom jewelry. While I was there and just hanging out, I decided to do something special for my new friend. I had an idea for something interesting so I made her a ring. I carved a wax model of the ring spelling her name Lisa in cursive letters and had the tail of the 'A' wrap around the finger forming the shank, coming around to connect up with the beginning of the 'L'. Very simple, yet kind of elegant. My friend cast it for me in 14k gold and finished it.
When I returned to work after my trip I ran into her in the hallway and asked her out to dinner that night and she accepted. I wanted to do something special so I made a reservation at the swankiest restaurant I knew of. I didn't tell her where we were going, so as far as she knew we were going to some casual place. She was dressed nice, but wearing jeans so when we got to the restaurant she said she felt underdressed (my bad, I know, but I was dressed just as casual as she was even though it was the kind of place you would normally dress up for). This was the kind of restaurant that when you ordered a salad, the waiter wheeled over this cart with a big salad bowl and spices and dressing makings, mixed up the dressing in the bowl and added the salad afterwards, tossing it with the dressing and making a show out of it. Lisa was impressed - she reached over and squeezed my hand and grinned from ear to ear.
After dinner we went to a nightclub for some dancing and live music. We went in and sat down and when the waitress was slow to come take our order, I went to the bar to get us some drinks. As I did so, I placed the small giftwrapped package on the table in front of her and went to get the drinks without watching her open it. When I returned the box was gone but she was wearing the ring. As soon as I sat down she planted a kiss on me that made my toes curl. For the rest of the evening I was walking on air.
The night ended with my dropping her off at home and getting another kiss even better than the first, then watching her walk into her house before driving home. Lets just say that were many more dates in the future for us, but that one was 'special'.
That was my best date ever.
