For all my friends,
Sorry - I goofed on the other Post and here it is again.
I discovered yesterday that for several months now there was a charge on my credit card statement that I did not authorize. It was the same amount that I gave to a charity, therefore, this is most likely how I missed it. Silly me.....wasn't being careful!
I did contact the credit card company and they will credit back the money after I complete their paperwork, etc. etc., big hassle.
The reason for this post was to share this with you and to say to everyone, always check all entires on your statements. I went on the internet and checked for the company, which I was completely unfamiliar with, and it was there with a big article about FRAUD. Somehow they got ahold of my credit card number or ?????? who knows. I feel pretty silly because this should not have happened had I been careful.

I used to work for customer servise for a credit card company before I became disabled. And you would not believe the fraud charges people find on their statements. Watch it every month. If it is something you do not know call the credit card company so it can be flagged right away. The sooner they know the faster it can be removed and better chances of catching the people who did the fraud charges. You can also close that acct and get a new number.
Also watch your APR's and if you think they are to high and you have good credit and no late payments then call and ask if you can talk to someone about getting it lowered. Be nice. And you may get it.
Late with a payment on a accident. Call and ask nicely and they may refund that late fee. Or overlimit fee.
Why do I say be nice?? Because some of these decisions is up to who ever you are talking to and when I would get some hateful person on the phone yelling at me. Chances were slim to none that I would do it.
And if you get an offer to transfer your funds for @% for so many months. Do it and save you apr for those months. Can always transfer back and may be a offer for a lower percentage for a few months again.
Just some advise. I sure do miss that job. Made some good money doing those balance transfers.

Hi PKK,
Just a little note, I went to a credit Seminar, don't remember too many of the details as my credit is fine and I was there to primarily promote my business. HOWEVER, I do recall that those 0% transfers can affect a person's FICA Score. Therefore, if a person is trying to raise their FICA Score, they might want to check this out. Another thing I do recall is making payments twice a month instead of once.......somehow this also helps to raise a FICA Score.
Again, I am defnitely NOT an expert in this area at all.......but just a little tidbit.
