The only thing that works for me is to get busy!
Turn it around by making progress in some area of your life. Cleaning can be therapeutic and you can't beat a rake for changing your view. Concentrate on the details and find a silver lining.

whatever you do don't stay home. Go for a drive, go shopping, buy yourself something, call your friends and force them to have Sunday brunch with you

Well having a psychology background I know that....
First we have a thought....then we have a feeling as a result of that thought...and then we behave according to the feeling... soooooooooooooooooooooo
Change your thinking girl... Maybe God is getting you ready for someone...and needs you to experience lonliness some....
Like the poster above me said...get out and do something... helping others is a great way of changing our thinking...Bless ya!!

Hi iansmom! Welcome to DH! Jacksonville here!
Yeah...I get those from time to time...don't we all?
Talking to friends on here helps some...lot of nice and
very funny ppl on here that can make you laugh!
I have made some very good friends on here and they
always lend an ear and a shoulder, and pretty soon
we are laughing and cutting up!
Having a hobby always helps!
I read a passage or two from my Bible daily and it
helps a great deal also!
If you have weekends off, maybe you could volunteer at
a local shelter...really puts things into perspective
and giving of yourself, well, it makes you feel much
better, and others too! Sometimes people need a smiling
face and a helping hand...ya know?

For me its music, I put on some up bet music, take a every long bath......
Then after go for a long drive to know where, and listen to more music......
A park is a great place to walk away the blah............well for me that is....
And Coming here and finding the craziest person, and havening them make you laugh....
thats what has help me to take away those fell sad for me days, so now I don't have any...
