i have this friend .we have been friends for years and out of the blue she decides to hook me up with her brother .i do not like her brother and am not attracted to her brother so i tell her no i dont want to go out with him and she gets mad at me and says i think im to good for her brother i dont think im better than him i just dont want to go out with him .so we keep discussing it and tempers get heated because she want drop the subject and she calls me a snobby b*tch ,wtf so i tell her im not a snobby b*tch just because i dont want to go out with your dumbass brother now she want talk to me i hate for our friendship to end over this so waht do you think should i have went out with him just to make her happy when i didnt want to

Don't blame you for not wanting to go out with someone because someone "thinks" they know what you want. Sorry but she sounds controlling and a real friend would except your decision right or wrong and still be your friend. I had a friend like that and her motives were for what she wanted not for what I felt comfortable with. I listened to her reasons and analyzed them but they still weren't for me. She got mad but that is her problem not mine. If she was my friend then she would of supported me not try to control me.

girl... been there done this.... my EX best friend did this same thing... well i decided to go on with my life... with a friend like that who needs enemies... what you need to do is confront your friend and tell her if she was a true friend she would respect your decision.... good luck girl

I have a rule. I never let my friends set me up with anyone. Because if that relationship won't work, you will lose not only your partner, but your friend too. So, I decided to keep these two as separate as possible...

 jelly.......Talk to her and turn the tables around and ask her if she would go out with someone she didn't like or attracted just cause you asked her.. I'm sure she will say no. But anyway that was very selfish of her to be mad at you.
