Do you care what someone online thinks of you? If so, why? I care to a certain extent but are you going to go on the defensive and get all riled up if someone is rude to you? I just got to thinkin about this because in one of my other posts a guy basically called me fat, and I thought it was so funny cuz I don't know him so why do I care? Call me whatever ya want. I was just curious how other people react to similar situations. Do you just ignore it, hit em with a witty comeback? Cry? What do you do when someone online is a d*ck to you?

I try not to let the inconsequential things bother me. If someone is rude or insulting I just ignore them and let it go because they are someone that I will never meet and definitely someone that I don't ever want to meet. As in "real" life there are a**holes in every crowd and you just have to learn to deal with them and their insignificant feelings, rude opinions and misplaced anger. If they get you riled they win. Some people are just too judgmental, too critical of others, too self important and too self centered and must direct their insecurities at others.
