I met a man on line, chatted and then got his phone number. For me what made me want to meet him was talking to him and finding out how much we really had in common.
The body was the first attraction but his voice and the way he carried himself was what got me hooked.

There comes a point when you need to go beyond the computer screen and start talking on the phone. You can tell alot more from a person by the sound of their voice than you can from what they say in a post.
If the phone conservation goes good, take it from there.

First and foremost , she has to make me laugh . She has to peek my interest in her , to the piont where I ask her how her day at work was or simply want hold her when she's feeling down . There is the difference between telling someone that all will be ok and holding them so that they can feel that all will be ok .

With all honesty, for me is physical attraction first (pic) so that it would make me want to click on his profile to read about him.. Did you noticed I said attracted (to me) not to the rest of the world.
And then if I like what I read about him then he's got my attention.
But if I read things that turns me off instantly like....
- I'm a down to earth guy
- I'm an easy going guy
- I'm very active, I like the outdoors, sports, bla bla bla (bores me to death  )
- Just ask me anything
- Just came out of a bad relationship
- I'm new at this
Then I would just move on to the next profile.

For me it is kinda in their pic, and then the
profile...I like the humorous ones best. So
yuck it up guys...humor wins the day!
I have been talking with someone for awhile
now...(even before the other crap I went through).
It started with emails, then Im's, now the
phone every night for hours. (I love my free minutes)
That's the best after the beginning contacts.
This guy is absolutely hilarious! I can't stop
laughing to hear what he says next! I love it!
Supposed to meet in 2 weeks. We shall see. I
consider him a good friend at this point, and
hope we will always be friends too, as he was there
for me when I crashed and burned! Hehehehehe!
So...the reality.... is be yourself and let your
"natural" good sense of humor shine through!

I agree with Cindy. I love a good profile that shows some sense of humor. Or at least something about himself that is interesting. I have been known just to write a guy because I liked his profile and then that starts a conversation. Never know it could lead to something.

For me, when I see he has a good heart, a loving soul, kind ways, class, and the manors to treat a lady like she should be treated, then I am ready to meet them in person. Of course looks does help.

wow Wicked I have been reading forums lately ...never knew you had THAT in you mm nice and I would have to say you just kind of know when it time to meet off line and before that talking on the phone is a must.. the sexy voice gets me every time..looks are not everything a great personality and ability to make me laugh is the key!! BUT I dont want to have to put a bag over the face or anything OOPPSS did I type that out  loud?? sorry
