On the serious side, I don't air my dirty laundry to others when it affects someone else. If I date someone and we have a group of friends, I keep things private. Just don't share intimate stuff. Now if someone is playing me a fool and I find out, you can bet your ass I share that info. to anyone that will listen. I think it's the same standard for the fellas.  
Fiddle, it's generally not safe to try to be involved with 2 friends because the truth comes out, whether it's online or in your hometown. IMO...
