I definitely agree with both you and Cande on this one. I'm either not contacted at all or I get the married men who are just look for sex or the very young men who are just looking for sex or those who are plain & simply not my type.
What's happened to real relationships? You know...the dating and getting to know each other to see if we're compatible before getting to the physical part of a relationship. I think it's so sad that so many people are just wanting sex. It feels very empty to me to have a relationship based only on sex. I want so much more than that.
I guess you should be thankful you're at least finding dates...I'm not even getting that far.

ditto with everyone. i wonder if it's also because we have been around the block (a time or two) and know what we want and don't want. we have become more picky and won't settle for second best. i've learned that i can be just as happy (or more happy) by myself than with someone that is second best. any thoughts out there on this?? plus, it doesn't help being shy.... men don't seem to look at the shy ones, just the ones out there for sex.

Great post girls, I'm glad to see the opposite sex feels the same as I. Now if I can only find woman like you in my area, I would be a happy man.

No I don't believe so, finding someone is and will happen when I least think it will happen.. As it has ....... I'll be around to chat with all, but yes it has, and I waited for a very long time for it to happen.......
So No never give up.......God sends us someone when we aren't even watching......You'll see... Hugs and Love Beach

I agree with all of you and I keep getting the same kind of people your getting. Does anyone believe in old fashion romance and dating anymore? I'm not sure at least in Illinois they dont.

I might be dreaming, but I'd like to meet someone and be best friends with lots of kisses and enjoy one another before you decide to go any further. I dunno where all the good guys are at? I'm aiming to find one some day.

Have to agree with shycowgirl we know what we want and second best is no longer good enough! These date lines are great for that weaning through stuff, until you get the jirk that is not honest as to what he is or puts in his friends picture! It does not take alot for me to illiminate potentials these days, but I am sure when least expected he will show up. I just hope I am ready for him! LOL Have to remember guys everyone has thier idea of the "PERFECT ONE" don't give up, just get ready!!!!
