So I had been talking a short time to this guy on here, we seemed to get along fine.We decided to meet halfway between where we each live. We met in a restaurant parking lot, he gets in my car and we talk for about 30 minutes. Never even suggested we have a drink or anything. Then he says lets go over to this store around the corner, he wants to look at some shirts. He never shows after a few minutes, so I called him, NO ANSWER, then he texts me , "sorry I'm just not interested". Can we just tell someone instead of playing games?.....What's everyone's opinion PLEASE!!

That was pretty crappy of him to do that. Some people may have a hard time telling someone that they're not interested in dating, but there are better ways to do it, and it's absolutely cowardly, not to mention rude, to just vanish like that.

what a clown. what did he have to lose by just showing common courtesy? i think some people act like this is an RPG game where they're acting out the fantasy of being a player with lots of women at their beck and call to pick or reject. well what goes around comes around and the next person he shows interest in will probably kick him to the curb.
but then he'll probably use that as an excuse to be a miserable human being to someone else.
lucky that u got home safe and sound. cheapo could have stole ur car or purse. maybe his was the example of what kind of person to avoid. hope the next will bring u happiness!

I agree that is a total jerk way of doing things. Had it happen to me before too. Things go great and then you have a date and never hear from them again. Why can't they just be honest. But NEVER meet them in the parking lot. Always meet them inside. Then if he doesn't want to buy your coffee at least you can buy your own and you have people around you for safety.
Men like that is why the good guys wonder why we are skiddish!!

This is the type of thing my thread Men a request from the ladies was all about. If they are not interested just say so from the get go. Why say something else. What's so hard about saying sorry don't make a connection here? I'm not sure about the rest of you but I certainly don't cry if I spill the milk, do you? Don't hurt my feelings if you don't like me I like me for the both of us!
