There are a few football players from Bedford, but the one person I'm sure everyone knows is Halle Berry..... Obviously I'm much younger than her, but my sister was in her graduating class (said she was a bit stuck up lol). She did come back to the high school one time when I was there to accept some award. I also attended the Heskett middle school that's mentioned, its right across the street from where I live... I also attended Cuyahoga Community College...I didn't know she went there too........

Famous ?? Depends on the definition .. I was raised in Lufkin Texas. My grandfather had the VERY first t/v and people use to come over just to see the sign off screen.A big t/v store sent him there from Houston to open a t/v store. My cousin was miss Lufkin. Another cousin was the weather lady on the news, her husband was the voice you heard on the t/v adds.... Other than that I had a landlady who's son was Greg Bingum of the Houston ( oilers) ...

During junior high, in the Valley,,, I lived caddy corner to Gene Roddenberry, attended school with his daughter, and next door to me was Morgan Fairchild (nhrn).
she was a year ahead of me in school. My dad played volley ball every week with Bobby Darin. Calif. in the mid to late sixties.

My uncle wrote a book about Marijuana smuggling and wrote songs.Willie Nelson,Joe Pesci,and Danny Glover sang one of his songs in the movie"Gone Fishin".He was in a movie himself in the late 50s.My dad is a legendary gator hunter.I spent about half a day with The Mamas & The Papas when i was 7 or 8.I had an immediate crush on Michelle,and made fun of Cass Elliot for hours.
And...dahnt dah,dah,dah daaahh! my cousin was a playboy centerfold.

I lived my high school years on the same street as Debbie Harry of "Blondie", in Hawthorne NJ; she was a couple years ahead of me.
Oh yeh, and once in the '80's I got to hang out in Mario Andretti's pits and ate a free turkey dinner while everybody else had five dollar burgers.

As a young girl in Westport, CT. I kept my horse at the Fairfield Country Hunt Club. Linda Blair was in the same barn with her pony. She was filming "The Exorcist" at the time. She came to a pool party at my grandparent's house and was wearing a turquoise string bikini and was allowed to smoke when she was only 12. Nell Newman, daughter of Paul also had her pony in the same barn. Paul used to come to pick her up in a silver Porsche. The Stuart McKinney(Congressman) family had several horses for their 3 daughters. Robert Redford lived next to my grandmother's very good friend and used to play tennis on her court. Larry Hayne who played Stu, from "Search for Tomorrow" and his wife, Trudy were good friends with our family. Its' funny, when you're a kid you're not particularly impressed. Of course we all wanted to know about the vomiting and levitation scenes from the Exorcist!

Didn't grow up there but did live around the corner from the Allison's in Hueytown Alabama. (You know the race car drivers) My brother was pretty close friends with Davy. My mom was terrified he would want to race too!
As a waitress near the Talledega track I met most all the drivers and got their autographs for my kids. I also met other celebrities too like Johnny Paycheck, The Manhattans, and Danny Davis of the Nashville Brass.
Later I had the good fortune to meet Sammy Kershaw and Lori Morgan at the last place I worked.

I went to school with the hottie on Lost....."Sawyer" real name Josh Holloway. He was born in California but grew up in my community of Free Home. My best friend lives in the house he grew up in. It is a damn old shack! He sure came a long way. He used to model in highschool and was in the Aerosmith video with Steven Tyler's daughter and Alyssa Silverstone. He is the one that took Silverstone's purse and ran down the sidewalk. I don't remember the song.

Well, I lived in so many states growing up that I don't know if anyone famous lived near me at the time But, I do know the Reverend Billy Graham grew up in Charlotte. Nascar driver Dale Earnhart lived in Concord, and singer Randy Travis used to live in a town close-by. Rick Flair lives here and Tammy Faye used to live here too.

I grew up in Spring Hill TN and Billy Ray Cryus and his family lived there (Thompsons Station- near franklin) as well. He was seen at mcdonalds a lot with his kids, at the stores, etc. Its a small town and almost everyone knew or saw them, this was of course after he had become a has been so no one really thought it was that cool. Now its funny that little girl has grown up to be Miley and is so successful.

Mars Volta and Sparta (famous "punk" bands from El Paso) My younger brother hosted lots of parties in his home where the band members hung out often and played. I saw them there a few times.
Luis Miguel (famous crooner from Mexico)...I was invited to my friends quincinera when I was 15 and he was her escort!
Lee Trevino (famous golfer from El Paso) Never met him personally, but have driven down the street that is named after him many times.
F. Murray Abraham (oscar award winning actor, Amadeus) His mom's hair dresser is also mine.

Yep, Theres all kinds of famous people living in and around me. Ever hear of the old country singer Linda Lee, She is from Ohio, I was her drummer in Nashville when she was famous. Now alot of people don't remember her, Maybe some old timers do. So if anyone has her records. I'm the goofy drummer playing the drums. During her recordings, I was her only drummer.
Mike Tyson's home is about five miles from me, when I drove for Fedex, Drew Carry was one of my customers, I also knew Lee Majors and Farrah Facett when they lived on there ranch, which Lee Majors still owns. Earny Shavors, the old time boxer lives about five minutes from me. I know Paster Reynolds, who his son was my bass player, He is from the old fifties group The Edsels I think I spelled that right, They sang that old tume Rama Lama Ding Dong.
I know Donnie Iris personally, He practices where my ex used to work. But I still see him time to time.
I also went to school with Terry Taylor, football player. Plus I know alot of the Steelers players. I use to work in the Stadium in Pittsburgh. I have alot of there autographs Pictures. Even Bill Cowl. Jarome Betas, Ike Taylor, Hines Ward ect.
My best friend is Willie Lewis, who played for Iowa Hawkeye's in the Rose Bowl, plus was drafted with the Eagles. Didn't play long due to him getting MS and couldn't play anymore. He lives next door to me. But he was real famous for the Rose Bowl games he played.
I do know alot of stars that I've played music with when I was playing. I have pictures of being on stage jamming with alot of stars. My last concert I did was with Gary Allen, Country singer. That was right before I got into my accident.

Not growing up, but when I lived in Monterey, my 1st ex was a contractor and he did some work on clint Eastwood's property in Carmel..we were invited to watch him race and were allowed into the pit with Clint, Sondra Locke and tiny little Paul Newman..(bluest eyes I've ever seen) my uncle is close friends of D*ck Van Dyke, Jerry Van Dyke, and Gary Marshall (Penny's bro)they went to college together in New York..Cher was born in my home town in the desert of So Calif, El Centro..

We lived in Hueytown Alabama right around the corner from the Allisons...the race car drivers. My mom was terrified my brother would get an interest in racing. We only lived there a couple of years though.
Over the years working in the restaurants I worked in I have met quite a few famous people. Most all the race car drivers...my favorite being Richard Petty because he was just so down to earth. Johnny Paycheck, Lori Morgan, Sammy Kershaw, The Manhattans...the whole group!!!, Danny Davis of the Nashville Brass, and several others. I have most all the autographs except the ones of the race car drivers. I gave them to my sons and their dad has them put up somewhere.
