This came from a forum on a site that my 21 year old son spends alot of time on! He asked me to check it out and give my opinion. Damn.. I was pretty impressed by his insight! lol
• If you think all women are "nagging b*tches" , expect to live alone when you get old and eventually die alone.
• If you have 100 reasons to criticize a woman, expect to live alone when you get older.
• Victoria Secrets' models are married. The perfect ones always are!
• Independent, attractive, nice - you can only have two in a woman.
• If you ask a woman on a first date how much she earns or what kind of car she drives, she gets to measure your penis while you are still in the restaurant.
• If you answer your cell phone during a first date, she has the right to immediately get up and leave with no explanation.
• Choosy and "stuck up" are closely related.
• At 50, single "happy bachelors" become single, lonely men.
• If you expect a woman to be "independent", don't be surprised that she'll be independent from you, too.
• Perfect women don't exist. Good women are everywhere.
• It's OK not to sacrifice your personal life and goals for your career.
• The karmic retribution for putting good women into the "Friend Zone" while getting hurt by "bombshells" is to become bitter, angry, and the owner of at least three junk cars in your frontyard.
• You are not a "stud" no matter what your T-Shirt states. If you really think you are a stud, then you'd better have the body of a bodybuilder, the face of an angel, and the personality of a saint. Even so, only Victoria Secrets' model can marry a stud ,and she's already happily married to someone more worthy than you are.
• Your single buddies don't want you to have a happy relationship with a woman. Consider this when listening to their advice.
• A woman won't say "I want you" until she is 100% confident that you won't use this against her. This might take years, be patient because women have egos, too.
• Taking the time to look your best is not optional. After all, if you can catch her eye then you can catch her heart. Being agreeable, pleasant, and happy will seal the deal.
• Smiles and laughter are contagious and can melt any woman's heart.
• The unintended consequence of independence is loneliness.
• Expecting sex in exchange for your dating expenses is called "prostitution" and it's illegal in most states.
• Excessive complaining is neither attractive nor polite.
• You are entitled to nothing. However, you can expect rewards for working hard for something.
• Before you say "it's all her fault" after a bad date, look closely in the mirror.
• It's not always women making you unhappy. Don't let bitter men convince you of that.
• Being strong doesn't mean being b*tchy. Wise men have known this for generations.
• You can't have it all. Please have the good sense to realize this.
. If you act, react or dress like a freak, you will be treated like a freak.

The nurturing a mother instills in her son to respect the attributes of womanhood and the knowledge a father bestows upon a son to respect the qualities of a women benefit the maturity of a young adult and the connection between man and woman.
Expectations are based on imagination. Reality is based on fact .
If women wish a true relationship, let both parties act as adults with respect toward the other.
If a connection of love is bonded you can feel the one you love near you.Even if they are miles upon miles away.

well said neo I have to admit I'm not fond of the word " rules" when it comes to love as emotions knows no boundaries and should never be saddled in a set of rules. But.. I definitely enjoyed the insight of what my son had to say

Are your expectations based on the myth of the youth or upon the facts of the real world?

lol nonick.. as I said, I'm not fond of the word " rules" as implied to life. There are no manuals, no firm directions on the case of love and relationships. All so-called rules do not apply to everyone. I was more interested in the concept of the " list"

I do indeed have exectations with life and for those I care about .
I manage my life in such wise as to live comfortable ,enjoy the nature around me ,respect others that make attempts to live in my surroundings and learn from those willing to share.
People are an important aspect of my life and most I cherish ,respect and regard as
worthy of acceptance, respect and admiration.
When my expectations with others are abused ,I walk .
When my expectations involving my own goals are denied ,I make others plans . Alternitives ,options ,there are so many to choose from. Which are always decided upon based on nurture ,nature ,morals and ethics.

I learned long ago to not expect much from others... but expect more from myself. I tend to not lean on another.. but expect myself to be the boulder for one to lean upon. I know what I can and cannot do within myself. I have learned no other way but to rely on myself, therefore, know only the true expectations of ME

REAL FRIEND TEST!
1. A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself
and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your
'beer/Pepsi drawer' with her/his foot!
2. A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend shoulder is soggy from your tears..
3. A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first
names.
A real friend has their phone numbers
in his address book.
4. A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your
party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and
stays late to help you clean.
5. A simple friend hates it when you call after
they've gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so
long to
call.
6. A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your
problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
7. A simple friend wonders about your romantic
history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it!
8. A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when
you
have an argument.
A real friend calls you after you had a fight.
9. A simple friend expects you to always be there for
them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!
10. A simple friend reads this e-mail and deletes it.
A real friend passes it on and sends it back to you!
Something to give thought to
It keeps us together, like our Circle of Friends.
'Never frown, even when you are sad,
because you never know who is
falling in love with your smile. '
