Keep Moving Program Helps Baby Boomers Maintain an Active Lifestyle!

Results from a recent national "Pain Poll" of baby boomers shows that 55% say their aches and pains have affected their ability to maintain an active lifestyle. Dr. Maria Solorio, M.D., M.P.H. is of UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles is working with support from the Arthritis Foundation and Tylenol on an initiative called the Keep Moving program. Keep Moving offers a strength and flexibility program specifically designed for young boomers who suffer from mild to moderate pain. Some Interesting Pain Poll Findings:
* Age Apathy- 88% of those polled feel that age is only a number
* Women Hurt - More women than men say their lifestyle is affected by pain
* Pain Motivation - 53% say pain affects their motivation to exercise
and stay healthy
* Young Boomers - Three quarters of baby boomers believe "50 is the new 40
