From the book... Still Life With Woodpecker:
There are essential and inessential insanities. The latter are solar in character, the former are linked to the moon.

Can't wait to hear andornot's comments on this one...

Maybe we're all sane... just wired differently because of individual circumstances and experiences. Not!!! Some on here are just plumb crazy! Maybe I'm one of them... but essential insanities obviously is a monthly cycle, i.e. linked to the moon.

... from the Andornot ... might suggest the following explanation, in haiku form ...

our dualities
complex passive intrusions
delight, delusions

I'm too lame to understand haiku and it's convoluted structure. I'd rather people just say what they mean in plain English so I wouldn't have to stress my brain and make a wild guess.

... from the Andornot ... they coexist ... a duality ... and when one or the other becomes delusional, hence, a pathological state presides ...

what is the importance of duality? It is only the recognition that more than one thing is happening at the same time.. duh... what's new about that? Sounds like some idea that is so simple is over complicated by analysis for people to ogle over and fog up their brains.

I'm still trying to figure out why it all has to SOUND so complicated!

I'm from the old school of conversations. I never was impressed with those that try to be a human crossword puzzle, myself. But thats just me.

It is not a question of impressing, some like to play with words and complex thoughts. Just different. Poetry, Hiku is beautiful, but not for everyone. Just an art form.

I didn't mean to offend you, if I did. I guess I just don't have the same appreciation as some do.

... from the Andornot ... for ydancing ...

Basho’s poems are well known for capturing the uniqueness of nature at a precise moment in time. His style of expression can be described as sensitive and thought provoking. Using the clear and concise style of Haiku he painted lasting images.

Typically, the poem has two parts, the first part puts forth a pair of seemingly separate ideas and the second part, in some barely visible way, links them together. The result is a truly lasting impression.

And, typically, in a single verse of three lines with a 5-7-5 syllable rhythm as below:

recognized moment
embedded glitter spills forth
only a dream, time

Thank you, Andornot for the info, so Bascho is an Author of poetry?
Name some other good authors who get deep and eccentric and or unique.

andornot, you need to read some of the old western poets poems, they are in english and really provoke some deep thinking.

andornot I think the poems are beautiful and it amazes me the way you can seem to use them in your daily life and thought processes some of us get so befuddled that to have to stop and think is a bother and anything that evokes thinking can be irritating and some revert to ignoring or thinking one is insane if they so choose to defer from the so called norm it is a lack of understanding keep on with your walk dear soul Ive enjoyed the re-pore

Andornot is far from insane. some are so cruel to him. It tells a lot about the person pointing fingers.
