There is no such thing as normal. This Mall Clothing you speak of is a Fad. And all clothing at one point of time was sold in a store or Mall.
On the other hand ppl should not judge other ppl by the clothing they wear.
Yet Guys want a girl that can present themselves well. Some guys like the goth look, or hippy look but most just want a girl to look good. And looking good just so happens to be whats in style.
