Ofcourse they or at least most of them, are jealous...Women are just jealous creatures, I've known mothers jealous of their daughters..... Nothing will ever make some women happy..
take Eve for example, GOD told Adam and Eve that can have any and everything in the garden, except one thing, Adam was fine with that, EVE wasn't she wanted it wanted it too.. then conned Adam into eating the forbidden fruit.......So I guess we can say that women, from the beginning wanted everything,Didn't listen to a man, and used their body to influence man's judgement, and was manipulative...........

Heck no. I look around at all the teens and think to myself (if they only knew what they look like). At the same time hoping I didn't act like most of the teens these days. I am only 25 but feel much older as I grew up very fast. But younger people these days think that it's all about them and things will just be handed to them. I would much rather be appriciated for my intelligence and hard work than my age anyday.

Wisdom is only more important once the guy who is involved sees the person, has to deal with them, and has a point of view between two people.
Do I get jealous about competing w/younger women (on DH)? If you "want" someone based entirely on a computer image and relationship, I don't have to worry about that "competition" because I am real and when I am IN a relationship it's real. Ain't nothing hard about "competing" with someone one on one in person. I'm as good as I am. If something that is strictly visual is "beating" me out, then there are more problems in my relationship than a picture!

I think everybody feels a twinge now and then, even if they don't acknowledge that it's jealousy. For the most part, I am happy to be middle age (somebody's gotta do it). I don't feel the jealousy when it come to men, it's more about things I use to do and although I can still do them...the bruises don't heal as quickly, my muscles don't bounce back as quickly as they use to. lol
As for the men, I wouldn't go through my teens and 20's again for anything. Even though it's still there, the games and such are less apparent in men my age that I date now.

There's a competition, really where do you sign up, Rules please, more importantly what's the prize? I responded NO, for me and I can't speak for the others, when I was younger, I did what I wanted to do, and now that I'm older and wiser I still do what I want. In life there will always be a younger woman or man for that matter, be confident in yourself and your swagger. Do YOU! Since when is this a competition? I should think that younger women and I are interested in a different demographic. Here in the forums, I'm just interested in what people have to say, not in trying to garner attention for myself.
And jealous of my daughters??? Who the hell came up with that idea??? All I see when I look at my two daughters is pride and a sense of satisfaction that I brought them up so well. They're beautiful, educated, witty, and loving young women.
Sheesh...

I love the responses being presented to this poll.I think older woman get a bad ""wrap, with "THE YOUTH CRASE, PLEASE!" It is so much better in all aspects now at the age of 45 rather then at the age of 25!
I know what I want and when I want it! "PERIOD"! I am comfortable with myself, and know what I am doing and have no false reservations or expectations. i'll admit that every once in a while, i'll have occasional pangs of envy even though i look as young as they do. i guess it's because they live in a more modern time than when i did at their age and they seem to be more respected and taken more seriously now than back in the early 80s when i was in my teens and early 20s.
however, ninety percent of the time, i do feel comfortable, attractive and confident at the age i'm at because i know so much more now than i did back then and plus, i don't feel my age nor do i look it. good genes, proper diet and exercise can work wonders for a person! i'll have to admit though, if i looked my age (or older) and wasn't in shape, i think i probably would be jealous of younger women but only in the aesthetic sense. as another poster stated, men get just as jealous as we do sometimes, hence the 'pissing contests' a lot of men hold with one another.
