Only if you are sick of lakes.
Seasick is just as common on the Great Lakes as it is on the open sea. It is all called "Sea Sick." (The cure is to tie a piece of raw bacon on a string then swallow all of it. When your next wave of heaves comes about {notice the nautical similarities}then forcefully yank pig tail until the partially dissolved warm and greasy bacon slithers back up). I guarantee you will be cured of all sea sickness (and raw pork) for life.

Oh yea got the table...the love seat yesterday...plus got ME all sorts of gifts..thinking I should wrap them and pretend its christmas....
Now the weekend will be for redecorating my apt and making it mine, all mine, just for me.
Do you know how exhausting shopping can be..

 YUCK! I can see that would do it..maybe just thinking about it.
I have only been seasick one time in my life.
I was 7 months pregnant with my second son. We went out on a deep sea fishing trip..
The captain took me back to shore..You know they say they will not do that. He made an exception. OMG I think he thought I was going to heave that baby up. I doubt I will have a problem this time, as I am to PG..Thank goodness and not chance of it.

I have begun a new study-teaching course. I will try to spend my weekend teaching cribbage. It is a card game played on a board with holes and pegs.
I hope my dog catches on fast.

I learned cribbage from the best (my Dad). I loved playing with him and he would always beat me  . He would just smile at me as if to say see, I told you I was the best.

OK...so here we are it is SATURDAY...I have to relocate my orchids BACK to where they were, they liked it better there..I am not crazy about it, but will live with it. relocated the violets yesterday, not sure this locale is going to be good, but hoping...they did not like where I moved them too either! and then am going to check the weather..I would love to do the bed linens and be able to hang out to dry, love the aeroma...and I think I may go to the libreary again...love that fact they have subscriptions to all the expensive magazine...

Today is our town OLD hOME day ----parade and all......going to my son's for his old home day barbeque..... ..

He sounds like a very smart dog. he'll get it some day. How about canasta? Can he play that game?
I used to play in cribbage tournaments at the community centre where I used to live. Lots of fun and a great way to get through the winters up here. I was a hall board member and had a ball. Now I really miss it.

Lots of Canadians get through winter by going South. It is warm and pleasant down here in Oleta. I once lived on the Canadian border in Idaho. That was great for snow skiing.
My bones do better now that my climate is milder.
Sorry, no ice hockey or curling here. We do have coon hunting and that great American sport that inspired coon hunting--picking up the garbage after the raccoons.

Montana is only about an hour and a bit away from where I am now. Idaho is just a hop, skip and a jump further to the west, closer to the mountains.
I hear you about the bones there '05', sometimes I think they MUST belong to someone else, they never used to hurt that much.
Racoons like Canada too, seems like garbage pick up is a game they play here too.

We have the racoon issue here also. My weekend has been filled with fun and games. Painted my hall ceiling and the inside of a window frame. Such fun.
