i had two signs up in my downstairs bathroom back in Mississippi. The contractors would come in to discuss stuff, pick up checks,,etc, and they all used this one 1/2 bath near my office.
One sign said, My Bathroom is Clean. I Aim to please, YOU AIM too, please.
Second sign: If you can't stand and hit the pot, drop your drawers, turn and squat!

Out of respect for others, and a matter of cleanliness, personally, I sit down. This makes for much less frequent toilet cleaning, and no urine smell from "Man standing up."

Dave...I posted this question to a male friend, and he told me, if the man is cleaning the toilet, he will keep the seat down, and sit. My brother was told, within the first couple of days of marriage, by his wife...this is the way it is done..both the seat and the lid are put down...this way we both have to do it, and it is not a gaping unsanitary pit

Sooner or later, the prostrate rules. When it does, sitting is a far better option.

i love this topic and am amazed how many respond to it. I started a thread when i first joined the site in general discussion.. Toilet Seat, Up or Down. It went for a few days and was a fun topic. Hope it gets the same response here.
guys, just a bit of info a doc shared with me long ago. the prostrate rule is mostly lack of exercise. Most guys just stand and let that sucker drain. The piece the doctor shared with me was to 'write your name in the snow, try to see how far you can piss, how high you can piss'. most guys have problems because of the sludge that gets stuck in there. Push that crap out!!!! Don't piss on the azaleas, piss over the top of them! Gosh, can you imagine what women would do it they had the movable pencil like men do? They'd have fun with it. Now, most of you can't go outside and try to shoot a stream over the top of your neighbors fence, but you can throw a cheerio in the bowl and sink that sucker. Besides, that my fiends keeps the dribble off the floor and toilet edges.
peace...

Inventor, Tim Seniuk has the perfect solution to the "leaving the toilet seat up" problem. He has invented a toilet seat that goes down automatically after about two minutes. This $37 investment could save your marriage!

When I was married I always moved the lid back to the tank, so it would not stay up. But then you had to use your knee and stand on the sided to go potty...
AND NO I DO NOT SET DOWN TO GO. I seen what you ladies said(women only) about men who set down to go...LOL...
Later, Blu
