And make more sense.This is of course my opinion,but when you seperate the forums into catergories people have less to say and make their points quicker,without the arguments the threads do not last as long. SO heres my idea lets discuss the qualities we'd like to see in rep.canidates and who has them.
this is what i'm looking for;
1.strong on military
2.firm with foriegn policy (concerning trade,aggressiveness,human rights,nukes.)I'm not concerned with global warming,i'm not convinced(and neither is al gorey)but Iam concerned with global pollution (oil spills,cleaner air ect.)which I believe everyone should be.
3.strong about doing something about illegal immagration.(Besides hiring a few to work around the house.)
4.Getting RID of the IRS, this should be a #1 priorty(1st 90 days deal)
5.Getting the manufacturing business back to the U.S.of A.with the high quality we used to have here.creating a solid job market with decent wages.
6.Taking care of America first !!!In disasters,getting our homless and poor help(job training,debt forgivness ,shelter and medical attention with the objective of getting them on their feet to be on their own.
7.Affordable medical insurance.(NOT socialized medical) as this leads to very high taxes (its not free as its promoted)and long waits for service.My brother lives in Canada
the taxes are over 50%.
8.Pro Gun ownership with the exceptions of convicted felons.
9.Get abortion argument out of govt.GOV should run the business of gov not personal lives .for Me i'm pro life but unless it's mine it's not my business.
10. streamline gov employment and spending.
these are my top 10!!!
OH YES and let hillary make history by making her an astronaut and being the first woman on mars or venus just get her the hell off this planet.
My preferences from what I've seen are; Guilliani,Huckabee.

This next election is going to be tough deciding. I find something negative about each of them. I agree that Gulliani ia a get it done guy but I also like McCain. Hillary or Obama would have us in a worse mess than we are in now.
Government is supposed to be of the people, by the people and for the people according to the Constitution. What has gone wrong? Government was not set up to take care of all these slackers that are too lazy to work. The welfare system needs to be revamped. There are truely those that are in need but I get tired of my tax dollars paying for these illigetimate kids born out of wedlock because these girls get themselves pregnant. Find the deadbeat dad and make him pay. if the guys were't so stupid they's at least use a condom!
Cut salaries for these big wigs in Congress! They keep voting themselves bigger raises. Tell me how that is government for the people? Maybe we need to throw them all out and start over.

Jay, I agree compared to the alternative even "Doc RON Paul" Looks good.!!Thompson would be an excellent choice ,but I don't see the politcal backing to pull it off.Maybe he hasn't pulled out the big guns yet!!Romney's OK but I'm afraid we havn't heard the last of the fallout from his lawn crew illegals .You know the dems dirty tricks squad is out there putting pressure on the co. he fired to say he knew all along whether it's true or not.It is howeverNice to see b.clinton falling in the polls.!!!!Phil

Sunshine,Yes it is going to be a tough decision year. However I think our team has a far better selection than the dumacrats.I highly respect McCain and his service to our country as a fellow V.N.VET.. His insight to prisoner treatment and war cannot be matched.
however it may work against him in a strength position, they'ed(enemy) know he may be sympathetic to prisoners that would lessen their fear of capture and may cause them to take chances they wouldn't otherwise.I did notice that Joe Lieberman is supporting him!!
